- i normally take up to 1~3 weeks per commission. i am neurodivergent and i have disabilities, this makes it harder for me to keep drawing everything for a extended period, also i have a job so

Battle Subway Teaser on Pokémon Sunday (08/2010)

I've been searching for prerelease info about Ingo and Emmet/the Battle Subway and stumbled across this old video from August 2010. The quality isn't great, but it's a segment from a TV show at the time called Pokémon Sunday. Given the date of broadcast, this is probably one of the first times footage of the Battle Subway was shown.

Here's a quick translation (also posted on my blog):

Pokémon Black and White: Fresh New Info! The information ??* is introducing today is about the new facility, the Battle Subway. [*audio is a bit garbled] "Subway" [サブウェイ, English loan word] means subway [地下鉄, chikatetsu], but to find out more about the kinds battles that take place in the subway, please take a look. If you win 7 battles in a row in the Battle Subway, you earn Battle Points that you can exchange for items. The Subway Master will appear too, so let’s give it a try! [Without any additional information, the term サブウェイマスター Subway Master could be singular or plural in this context.] Let's all aim to battle the Subway Master and keep trying again and again! "Subway Master" is hard to say, isn't it? (laughs)
