I am a bit confused by the last word on The Dread Knight's title card but maybe it is a name? If anyone has info on that or knows what the logo with the ? in the last photo is let me know!!
How dearly I missed doing these. Also calling the guy from the projections Narrator cus what I wanted to call him is Big Brother but I feel that’s a little on the nose. The other guy from the projections is Real Boy though because he’s a real boy. Under the cut 🙏

And the band that were nice enough to come out with us on this incredible fucking tour, The fucking Hives. I would go to this show. I would even stay for My Chemical Romance. The Narrative of the "Long Live" The Black Parade Tour
I wanted to share what I've been jokingly referring to as my dissertation. Over the last six weeks, I've written up a plot summary of the first leg of the tour including links to videos of a lot of the key moments and some of my theories. I have absolutely no idea if this is of interest to other people but felt like sharing. There is something so special about how this plot continues to develop. It is like watching a TV series that you simply can not get enough of.
The origins of this Gerard Way photo have alluded me too long. I’ve seen it all over Pinterest and tumblr and I’ve scoured the internet and My Chemical Romance archives and cannot find it.
Posted my query on Reddit but no one knew on there either. Some assumptions about it being pre-2004(due to haircut, proximity, and possible booger sugar nosebleed). Could also NOT be a live performance photo. I’m desperate for My Chemical Romance experts to help me in my quest PLEASE HEAR MY PLEAS.

So the earliest we can find this picture being used is as a live journal profile picture from 2008.
If we could get our hands on the metadata of those live journal profile pictures from 2008 that would be AMAZING. But those accounts have now changed their profile pictures. We could try contacting them about it too.
Update! I’ve been chatting with the lovely @franniestein about the photo. There was an earlier instance of the photo a couple months before it was on live journal on a Russian photo upload website. Problem is is that that website has been gone for a while and no luck on way back machine. But since this was a Russian website, maybe the the uploaded had been in Europe and took this picture. So this could be from any of the European shows of 2003.
Having trouble finding video of any of these euro shows though. If anyone has access to any or knows where to find them please let me know!

One of my most prized possessions in my chemical collection. This is something I would wear all the time, and what I wore to my first MCR show, The Black Parade tour. I never expected this would be some rare item, just like I never expected My Chem to reach this level of fame & infamy.
