Hello, raindrops. I barely use this platform to ask for anything but Lucas is an exception. Please take time to read this post. Reblogs will alsoĀ help me greatly.Ā
This little bud right here is Lucas Brillo-Faeldonea. He is my nephew. He was born premature last August 21, 2018, and along with it, complications and medical bills, that my family Ā and I can barely meet. Lucas was born with underdeveloped lungs so he canāt breathe without a ventilator and an oxygen tank. This led Ā him to develop pneumonia too. At one point, he also had a severe infection which caused him to have Sepsis. To make things worse, 2 weeks ago, he was diagnosed with Mild Hydrocephalus (water in the brain) which according to his neurosurgeon, can lead to surgery which can affect his mental and physical development. That was the news that broke my sister (Lucasās mom) the most, but somehow, Lucas has survived most of it and we are praying that he will survive all of it too. Please know that my family is the most hardworking bunch I know. And we are trying our best to sustain Lucasās daily needs and expenses. But right now, our medical bill, which includes Lucasās medical equipment, medicine, and doctorās fee (Lucas has three doctorsāa pediatrician, a neurosurgeon, and an internal medicine specialist) has reached around 200,000 PH pesos (or roughly 3,700 US Dollars), and it is already impossible for us to meet even half of that amount. In this regard, Iām reaching out to your kindness. Lucas is a brave little boy, and this is my family and I asking the universe to not give up on him.Ā
