So here’s the highlights

Adding a cut for length of photos + yapping

My oldest model is this one on the fury prancer mold, it’s an odd one since the rider is a Canadian Mountie where it’s traditionally a dark or black horse and they produced a variant with a white horse

(Fury prancer, model #P445 1957-1959 )

The classic Arabian mare from the family set was one of the first model horses I got secondhand that started the obsession 😅… I have since completed the set, although I would like to find a better matching stallion the paint is obviously different lol

(CAM /Classic Arabian mare, mold #3055 1973-1991)

This one I got fairly recently and is the only model I have that is wood grain painted (there was a whole era of models including some other animals molds)

(Quarter horse gelding, mold #999, 1960-1964 )

Then this is just one of my favorite molds that I joke anytime I see one I have to buy I absolutely love the brightly model I actually don’t know the year of this one really the person who was selling it claimed it’s the chalky one but idk if I believe that lmao

“Face paint”

A secondhand model horse that was pretty scratched. I knew I wanted to use it for some kind of project but I wasn’t in love with it the shape and didn’t want to get into a whole sculpture. So full silly paint job obviously was the next step, I used a lot of wet on wet paint to sell the look of face paint
