but yeah Don Lemon is kinda only here for himself, our fucking Girl! Georgia Fort, an actual twin cities based journalist with connections to the community who has done a pretty great job representing actual people and communities here in her reporting got taken too and like, no body is talking about her outside of us.

I get she does not have the same massive audience, but she is way more important to peeps here than some guy who only pulls through when someone gets shot.

The feds snatched a Black woman from her home in front of her daughter for being a good and trusted journalist and held her 2 or 3 times longer than they held Don Lemon. It feels more personal a threat to everyone here because that’s not a talking head. That’s our neighbor who we trust to investigate on our behalf.

It’s the smaller journalists that the system fears, not the channels they already control.
