Ginger Rogers surverys her magnificent new Oregon ranch. (Life, March 2, 1942)
"How do you think those routines were accomplished? With mirrors?... Well, I thought I knew what concentrated work was before I met Fred, but he's the limit. Never satisfied until every detail is right, and he will not compromise. No sir! What's more, if he thinks of something better after you've finished a routine, you do it over." ~Ginger Rogers

It's a no brainer that Fred Astaire's descendant is Michael Jackson. Michael would watch Fred Astaire's films when he was little. For the role, I'm going to cast Bruno Mars if I were the casting director, especially if the biography picture is about Fred & Ginger or mainly focused on Michael Jackson. No one could pull off MJ like Bruno, even if Bruno turns down the role because of a lame excuse like he "can't pull it off". What do you guys think?
If they make a biography picture on Fred & Ginger, George & Ira Gershwin would be a must-have in the story because they both cared about the Gershwins more than the other composers that they have worked with. For Ira, I think that Jesus Lutz could pull it off and wear glasses. Of course, he has to undergo a diction class to get the accent right but that's about it for set backs. For George, Julián Gil because he could utter George's last words under his breath if he puts his mind to it and that's what sets George apart from Ira, is that he could do anything when he puts his mind at rest. What do you guys think?
Pandro S Berman is a key figure in the collaboration of Astaire & Rogers. And I think that Gael García Bernal could pull of Pandro well. I don't think that there are other people who could do him justice in my opinion. What do you guys think?
It is not secret that Claire Luce was Fred’s muse and inspiration for the Night And Day dance sequence. For Claire, Dove Cameron because she could sing and she could probably try to sing like Claire did. And with her small dance background for Disney’s Descendants, Dove is my choice for Claire Luce – the original Mimi Pratt. For Hermes, Ansel Elgort only because of the slight physical similarities. Ansel did the one film about cancer positive teens and died at the end, but Hermes would be a different role for Ansel because he has to learn how to tap dance.
What do you guys think?
