Started in 2021, Freedom AU is a Five Nights at Freddy's and Undertale crossover fanfiction series, written by me. It's an AU that takes place Post-Pacifist run (though the first book, part of the second, and some shorts and scenes take place before Undertale's Pacifist ending). This AU is set in a world of Humans, Monsters and Anthros. One thing to disclaim, this AU isn't equal parts Undertale and FNAF. It leans more towards FNAF characters for the plots, and for world/magic building this AU will lean back to Undertale. And while this is an AU of FNAF, a horror series, Freedom AU is not a horror series.
This masterpost will be focused on the FNAF elements of Freedom AU.

This alternate universe is consisting of these three species. I've made a chart that explains the difference between the three different SOULs of each species, as it shows that Monsters and Anthros are in fact different from each other.
𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬
When it comes to characters in this universe, all Monsters from Undertale remain mostly as they are in the game. As for the FNAF cast, the Anthros, I do mostly stick to the characters of the Animatronics(minus the dead children). But I do have to make a few changes here and there, in terms of names and all that. I also apply my headcanons to all the characters. So, I'll next list of the main Anthros by FNAF games, and by original characters!
(These will be linked posts, for convenience)

Now onto listing Anthro family groups, and couples(ships)—starting with romantic pairings. I'm always particular at making this clear in the AU to avoid any misconceptions between characters, which luckily has only happened once so far.
Freddy x Chica {𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙙}
Bonnie x Toy Chica {𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙙}
Foxy x Mangle {𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙙}
Puppet x Ballora {𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙙}
Circus Baby x Ennard
Springtrap x Spring Shine {bondmates}
Arthur Fazbear x Bernadette Fazbear {𝙢𝙖𝙧𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙙}
𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 • 𝐅𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝐅𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲 & 𝐁𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐅𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲
⇢ Each family will have names of characters actively in-AU present day, ongoing plot lines, who're listed from oldest family member to youngest
Bears - Fred Bear Sr & Maisie Bear(deceased), Bernadette Bear-Fazbear, Theadora Bear (Etta & Thea are sisters)
🇺🇳🇩🇪🇷🇸🇹🇦🇳🇩🇮🇳🇬 🇺🇳🇮🇶🇺🇪 🇲🇴🇳🇸🇹🇪🇷 🇩🇮🇦🇱🇪🇨🇹🇸 The unusual ability for an Anthro to understand a Monster's unique dialect that other Anthros, and most other Monsters may not understand. (It isn't currently known why an Anthro has this ability)
Both cupcake companions, (Carl & Claire), are not Anthros. They're monsters
Nearly all Anthros lived without memory of their lives before Fazbear Entertainment until only recently
Only Chica, Annie and Toy can understand Carl & Claire. To everyone else, both cupcakes are only ever heard saying "I'm a cupcake".
Ballora has a music box that plays a melody from Swan Lake
There do exists animatronics in this AU, they just aren't the same as the Anthros in any form, story wise
Alphys was not fired post true pacifist, nor the Royal Guard disbanded

GENERATIONS: Lost Links (Book 15) - Chapter Twenty-Six is now up on Wattpad!(coming soon to AO3!)
Teaser: Ch. 26
Featured Cast: Puppet Marionette, Ballora Marionette, Bonnie Cottontail, Cecelia "Toy" Cottontail(T. Chica), Claire the Cupcake, Pyped Marionette

A kiss on his cheek finally pulled Puppet back to the present. He blinked. Both himself and Ballora were dressed for the day, having just stepped out of their bedroom. He'd barely been aware that entire time.
"Good morning," Ballora said to him, a small smile finding her features once his eyes met hers. "Are you actually awake, now?" Puppet felt her gently squeeze his hand. He looked down, realizing she was more just holding onto his. He grabbed her hand in return. "Yes. Sorry, I didn't realize... I wasn't paying attention."
"Don't apologize," she told him, "it's alright." He felt the energy from his magic beginning to finally settle. "You sure? You didn't say anything that I missed?" Puppet asked her. "Other than my original, "morning, love", you didn't ignore anything." Ballora assured him. He smiled a little.
Leaning down a little, he gave Ballora a soft kiss. "Morning, beautiful." Ballora's smile grew more, as did the loving look she was giving Puppet.
"Bore da, to you love birds." Puppet's eyes widened in surprise, him and Ballora spotting Pyped stood outside the guest room. He chuckled a little, giving them an amused smile. "Dad..." Ballora was laughing a little, too, as she hugged Puppet's arm. "Good morning, Py."
"If you wish," Py began towards the staircase. "I'll go start a pot of coffee and give you both a moment." He offered, making his way downstairs. "We'll be there in a minute." Ballora answered. From the bottom of the stairs, Py looked up and said to them, "Simply be here when you smell the french toast, Enaid."
Once her father-in-law left for the kitchen, Ballora looked up to her husband with amusement. "Seems we should kiss in the hall more often. Then we won't have to make breakfast anymore." Puppet laughed a little, shaking his head. "You might be onto something, my dear." He reached down to kiss her again—the second one lasting for the aforementioned moment they had been given.
The bunny had begun to anxiously bounce his leg under the breakfast table since he'd heard her greeting her sister after answering her cellphone. By now, Claire had retreated to the windowsill by the table to enjoy the rest of the grapes from her breakfast without being subtly shaken by the bunny.
Bonnie stopped the motion when Toy returned to the kitchen. She pocketed her phone and sat back down again. "That was Vix." She stated, saying what he'd correctly assumed. "She called to update on Luca(BB)." Bonnie tried not to seem to nervous while he listened. "His arm's still hurting, but aside from that he's doing good." Toy said. Bonnie felt himself relax somewhat.
"He's gotten a bunch of signatures and stuff on his cast, and has gotten balloons."

Between the Moments (Freedom AU Shorts) - Dreaming is now up on AO3 & Wattpad!
Featured Cast: Gus(Funtime Freddy), Fritz(Funtime Foxy), BonBon, Ballora Ballerina
Word Count: 471 of 4070
Funtime Freddy blinked. He looked around, only to find no sign of the other kids. Not even the birthday boy. "Hello?" He called. No one answered.
He continued looking around more quickly. Movement caught his eye.
Directing his gaze towards it, he saw a shadowy silhouette. It looked like his own shadow. It followed his every movement like a shadow should, but there was something uncanny to it. He took a few cautious steps back.
A pair of hands grabbed onto his shoulders. He felt relief come from the simply gesture.
Freddy gasped. He sat up straight, the pair of hands still holding his shoulders firmly. He looked around, noticing he was on the Funtime Auditorium stage. Foxy was looking at him worriedly. The bear gave him a curious look. "What... happened?" He asked. "You were having a pretty intense dream, there... sleep talking and everything."
"But... weren't the technicians with me?" Foxy blinked. "Dude, that was hours ago. Everyone's about to hang out in a half hour, now." Freddy paused, trying to recall what had happened. The memory of the technicians letting him go back to the Auditorium came back to him slowly. He remembered being tired afterwards, so he and his brother simply turned in for the night.
He didn't really feel tired, now. He felt energized, but in a strange way. Almost as though the energy were coming from the core of his chest. It was odd... the bear opted to shake the feeling off. Since, he'd felt like this before whenever he'd get woken from a dream like that.
Freddy hummed. "... right." Foxy gave his shoulder a pat. "You still look tired, want to stay here a bit longer?" The fox offered. Freddy thought for a moment, rubbing at his tired eyes while he did. Then, he shook his head 'no'. "I can't fall back asleep..." Foxy nodded. "Alright. I'll go see if BonBon's awake, and we can meet up with the others."
"Okay."
"Hey, Gus," the bear glanced around quickly when he'd heard his name addressed. The ballerina had stepped out into the hallway, finding him there. He could tell by the curious expression she had, that he had worried her before he'd left the room. She only ever had that look about her when worried if one of their friends were okay.
But he didn't know what he'd done to worry her. He was okay, and he'd been enjoying hanging out with everyone.
"How're you doing, out here?" Ballora asked, now standing next to the bear. Freddy gave her a smile. "I'm okay, Ballora." He assured her. However, the ballerina didn't look convinced. "I know you sometimes want to just get some quiet for a few minutes," she began—and that was true. "But you don't seem like yourself tonight." Freddy blinked. "What is it, hun'?"

It's officially been five years since I began posting Freedom AU on the internet! (I say on the internet, because I published it first on Quotev, this day five years ago, but didn't actually bring it to Wattpad until like August 29th of 2021 sooo-)
Five years is kinda wild for a fanfic series. Five years of the same AU fan media that I've just been writing and drawing on my little corner of the internet. While sometimes I feel like I could've spent those five years making a fully original series, I quickly remind myself that these haven't been five years wasted. A lot has good has come about from Freedom AU, and not gonna lie, I wanna see what more can come of it if I give it another five years.
Y'all are hearing it here first, we're gonna get to "10 Years of Freedom AU" or my creativity will die trying! (Which if that happens that means something very wrong has happened to me, and you have my full permission to freak out UvU).
Buuuut for now, we're just celebratin' the milestone of five years. As always, with a fun portrait! (I swear I always feel like I'm excluding characters in these portraits, but when you've got like over 28 characters making up the main cast, y'a can't include everyoneee TvT)
Thought it'd be nice, this year, to pose us all somewhere that wasn't an unidentified room with a couch, or some pastel colored void where we all just stand. So, we're all up at the front of the Fazbear-Grant Freedom Sanctuary!
Lil detail to point out, Gus is on a stool behind me. He is, in fact, not that tall, but when I was sketching I didn't know where to squeeze him in. (The sides of the image cut off exactly where the page does lol). So he has a stool, if you look closely-
That's all for my yapping. It's been a great five years, and with every chapter I post, I just grow closer to this little AU I created and its characters—OC or not. And for as much fun as I have planning, and writing, and making art for this AU, I'm also happy it's got some readers who enjoy the series.
So, thank you for reading! Hope to see y'all follow along with where ever I take this AU in the future 💜
I'd also like to give a special thanks to le followin' peeps~~
✧ @kittytoasteere who I met through writing Freedom AU. She understands this AU as well as I do, and has gotten me to think more improv(?)/creatively/outside-the-box about the characters and the world building, over the last year especially, mostly via "what if" scenarios. Plus she's just fun to bounce ideas off of, and y'all can find some of her art sprinkled in various books ✨
✧ @sweetlilbirb who's a regular reader of Freedom AU. You're awesome, absolutely never change! ⭐
GENERATIONS: Lost Links (Book 15) - Chapter Eight is now up on AO3!
Teaser: Ch. 8
Featured Cast: Fredbear Fazbear(Gold), "Crying Child", Freddy Fazbear, Annie Fazbear
Words: 397 of 2642
The boy curiously looked back up at Fredbear, just as he snapped his fingers. "Ah! You must live closeby, and walked yourself here!" Another head shake 'no', this time followed with a subtle, amused smile. Fredbear sighed dramatically in defeat. "Oh then, I give up. Guess it'll just be a mystery…!" The boy laughed a little, his plush being lowered more from his face. Fredbear smiled at him.
"My uncle." The boy then answered, voice just loud enough to be heard. "Ah, you're here with your uncle. That's nice!" The boy nodded.
With a glance at a nearby wall clock, Fredbear realized he didn't have much time before needing to turn back for the stage and continue with the trio's songs. He gave the boy a gentle pat on the head.
"I'm gonna go say 'hi' to folks in the arcade, you want to walk with me?" The boy briefly glanced to the arcade, seeming a bit unsure. Fredbear knelt down to the boy's level. "Want a piggy back?" At the offer, the boy's eyes lit up. "Really?" The bear smirked, nodding 'yes'. The boy smiled, accepting the offer as he was given a hand in climbing onto the bear's back.
Standing up straight, Fredbear looked at the boy—who's chin was resting on his shoulder. "Alrighty, little guy. Hold on tight!"
He was knelt down, sliding the now-unbuckled-stroller straps from his niece's arms and legs. "There y'a go," With both hands, he took hold of her and lifted her from the stroller seat. "Free at last!" His brother watched with a smile, as Gold took Annie in his arms and slowly stood up straight. Annie wore a smile of her own, giving her uncle an eager look as she babbled happily to him.
"Glad to see someone's in a cheery little mood," Gold commented, lightly ticking at Annie—eliciting a small squeal of a giggle as the little cub grabbed at his hand. Freddy smirked at the sight of them. "Well, for one, she just had a nice nap while I was walking her here from the café." He began, pushing the stroller aside before he and Gold went to the apartment's living room couch. "And once she did wake up, she was thoroughly entertained by what all there was to see."
"Ah," Gold hummed, sitting down on the couch.

GENERATIONS: Lost Links (Book 15) - Chapter Twenty-Five is now up on Wattpad! (coming soon to AO3!)
Teaser: Ch. 24

As he did, Sophie took note of the multicolored scribbles peaking out from the sling Luca's arm was in. His cast was already being covered in doodles and signatures.
"Did you sign it yet?" Sophie, Helpy and Luca all looked towards Jenny. She gestured to her twin's arm. "Luca's cast. Did you guys sign it yet?" Both Sophie and Helpy shook their heads no, Sophie then asking Luca, "Can we?" Still chewing on a bite of muffin, Luca nodded 'yes' and hummed an "mmhm!" Sophie smiled. Jenny went to retrieve a few pens for the two.
She was back in no time with two, colored ink pens. One purple, one turquoise. "Here, I thought you'd like these colors." Jenny answered, holding the pens for them to choose. Helpy took the turquoise one, and Sophie the purple one. "I have an idea." Sophie started, moving to sit on the floor closer to Luca—as he carefully rested his arm on the coffee table. "I'll sign for myself, and leave a little kitty smiley for my cat. How's that sound?"
"I'd like that." Luca answered. Sophie nodded, going about signing her name and adding the mentioned cat doodle.
After, Helpy wordlessly got off Sophie's shoulder—now on the coffee table. The small bear was careful of the unfinished puzzle as he sat by Luca's arm. Luca watched curiously as Helpy signed his name, and a short sentiment which read, "heal up! :3".
The boy smiled, slowly replacing his arm in the sling. "Thanks." Sophie gave his good shoulder a light pat, as she said to him, "Don't mention it!"
Another house in the neighborhood saw Sophie knocking on its door, next. Leading to a warm, friendly greeting by Spring Shine—the rabbit letting Sophie enter inside the home. Springtrap also came over to the foyer, greeting Sophie and Helpy for himself.
"Right, so," Sophie patted her hand on her tote bag still slung over her shoulder. "After some digging around," she paused, shaking her head as she emphasized, "and I mean serious digging," Shine and Springtrap silently exchanged a look with one another, though listened to Sophie as she continued to speak. "I was able to find company files from the archives, which look to narrow down the area where they got you from." Sophie had nodded to Springtrap."
"Just the area?" Springtrap asked. Sophie answered with a nod, getting the folders from her bag. "Here," she handed them to the couple. "I'm sure you know how they tried covering up the Family Diner after it closed, so it was tricky to find much on you all who were there." Sophie told them, tagging on with, "Specifically on you three."

GENERATIONS: Lost Links (Book 15) - Chapter Seven is now up on AO3!
Teaser: Ch. 7
Featured Cast: Nat Marionne Marionette(Nightmarionne), Gus(Ft. Freddy), Fredbear Fazbear
Words: 419 of 2432
Following the meet up with his family—which he should've known better than to fall for—there had been attempts by the skeleton to try finding him at the Sanctuary again.
So far, he'd been able to fool him into thinking he'd packed up and left the Sanctuary following the meet up. He wanted to be careful to absolutely keep it that way, lest he rattle off his whereabouts to his family.
At least with the bear, who introduced himself as Gus, he was sure enough didn't know who he was. There wouldn't be a problem as long as Gus didn't know his identity—something else which he was careful to keep concealed in the case the bear knew his family.
The silence had settled for long enough to partially placate him, now.
Moving with uncertainty, he stepped out of the shadows he'd kept hidden in. He slowly approached the tray of food, giving it a skeptical glance. A tentacle just as slowly reached for the bowl of oatmeal, the tip dipping into the warm dish. From it, he pulled up a cooled blackberry. He stared at it for a long minute.
Before realizing, he'd brought the berry up to his mouth and ate it.
It tasted cold. But it was good.
So... this wasn't some sort of trick. Now using his hands, he picked up the bowl of oatmeal before retreating to the comfort of his hiding spot again. Starting first with the blackberries mixed in, he finished the oatmeal before long.
The man had been stood leaning against the wall beside the arcade for a while now. He only seemed to be watching the children and dining guests as they walked past him, though for the most part, his sights seemed more directed at him and his band mates. He watched on with a furrowed brow, yet the bear was unsure if his expression read as concerned or simply tired.
He only somewhat recognized the man. He'd seen him by the Family Diner on a few occasions, and had assumed him to be with one of the regulars at the restaurant. After all, the man's appearance in wearing different sweaters and patterned button-down shirts, his non-business-professional kept, dirt blonde hair and trimmed beard made him blend in with the other men who'd dine here with their families.
One time, though, he'd seen the guy approached by their manager. Both men spoke as though they were good acquaintances, walking and talking on their way into the manager's office.

Chica, too, looked towards Gold when she heard Freddy's question. Gold paused, slowly looking between the two. Carl, meanwhile, had still been watching Gold—noticing the bear relax a little when Chica had taken Annie back.
"He... Well, he wanted to," the bear began, "just eh... the timin' just didn't work out. But he didn't want to hold back the search, so he'll eh, be helpin' from here." Gold explained, managing a fairly casual smile. "And you know, also seein' to Plushy 'n what have you." Freddy nodded a little at the explanation.
"Although, can I make a request?" Freddy asked, his brother now giving him a curious look and a nod to continue. "Can you bring back a souvenir?" Gold blinked. "Like a key chain, or something." Freddy added, beginning to grin. "... Why?"
"Why not?" The younger bear countered, Chica shaking her head a little in amusement. Gold couldn't help the small eyeroll. "Okay, fine. No promises it won't be completely tacky." Freddy wrapped an arm around his brother's shoulders, giving the older a small, joking shake up at the same time. "The tackier the better!"
"You got it, Fred'." Gold said with a smirk. Carl finally glanced away, towards Chica. The two sharing the same, amused reaction from the brothers' exchange.
Now at his paint easel, still in its usual corner of the living room, the bear set his mug of tea on the end table to his right. He let the drink cool, as he picked up his paint palette to get the first few colors of paint on the surface.
His current piece was only half painted, while the reference sketches were already completed. They we set on the ledge of the easel, next to the small paintings. Today, he'd finally found the time to continue the careful work on this small project.
Even though his personal studies did take up much of his energy, he didn't want to keep the recipient of this small, restorative piece waiting all too long. After all, it was a sentimental piece he'd been working on.
He was about to begin mixing a couple blues together, when Bonbell came into the living room. "Fred?" The bear paused. He looked over his shoulder, seeing his brother approaching him. The bunny had a worried look about him. "Do you have your phone on silent?" Fred blinked. "I, well yes? Just while I'm painting..." Fred shook his head a little, brushing his excuse off in favor of asking, "Why, what's happened?"

Teaser: Ch. 6
Featured Cast: Puppet Marionette, Fredbear Fazbear(Gold), Nat Marionne Marionette, Gus(Ft. Freddy), BonBon
Words: 412 of 3365
Setting his mug down, Puppet simply looked down at his tea for a moment. "... I honestly hope Sans didn't accidentally hurt Nat's SOUL." Gold sighed a little, putting a hand on his friend's wrist. "You're brother'll be fine until y'all are able to help him out. I'm sure." Puppet smiled somewhat at the reassuring words. "Thanks, Fredbear."
After all that had happened that day, all he wanted to do was retreat in his hidden nook and never leave it again. Simply keep himself where no one was going to hurt him like that again, wrapped up in the quilt where no one else could yet find him...
... unless word of where he was hiding out got passed around. His stride stopped, the building in sight. The fresh ache in his SOUL was making it difficult to think straight. Maybe... Maybe if he could rest, then he'd figure out what to do about the threat of his whereabouts being shared. He'd be able to outsmart the skeleton... just as soon as he was able to rest.
Making it to the building, he took his usual way in. His steps were quick, making his way to the basement door—in a hurry to curl up, hide away, and hope the throbbing pain would stop. He only fumbled with the door's knob for a few seconds, barely making sure the door had closed properly behind him once slipping through to the basement staircase.
He was too focused on getting to the basement. Getting his shaking form wrapped in the comfort of the old quilt. Ignoring his surroundings and the pain the skeleton had inflicted him with.
From the threshold of the front room's side entryway, he stood unmoving. His eyes had slowly widened, watching the basement door slowly close but not latch. He'd watched the Anthro hurrying down into the basement. Too many questions were running through his mind to even be frightened by their appearance.
They had a slim build. They wore a tattered, violet vest. White stripes made their way up the Anthro's legs, arms, and possibly along their fingers. They'd been moving too quickly for him to tell.
But, their masked features alone were all the indication the bear needed to determine who this had to be.
Gus's jaw slowly fell agape. A small hand gently pushing his chin to close him mouth. "Gus?" After a moment, Gus blinked a few times. He looked at BonBon, sitting on his shoulder. "Was that...?"

This unforeseen detour, however, was now beginning to cost the rabbit daylight. He'd hoped to make it back home to his bondmate and their son by sundown. Yet, now, he could already see the warm hues of the sunset begin slowly appearing in the horizon. At this, all he could do was huff to himself and shake his head and continue onwards.
Spring kept a wary eye on the sky as he traveled. He knew he'd soon need to light a lantern before long. Though, strangely not as long as he'd expected. Darkness was already beginning to fall across the sky above him...
No, that wasn't normal nightfall.
The wagon's single horse continued trotting along, all the while Spring held the reins between his knees. With hands now freed up, the rabbit made quick work of lighting a lantern and hanging it by the metal hook beside the driver's bench. He then took the reins back in his hands.
It had gotten even darker.
A glance around was met with being nearly unable to see past the surroundings immediate to the light of the lantern. Eyes squinted, Spring gave up trying to make out anything in the dark. He adjusted the horse's speed, now driving the wagon at a more careful pace.
He chanced a look at the sky.
And his breath hitched.
Above him, where stars, or clouds and the night's moon should've been visible, were simple gone. Above him, the sky appeared void of anything. He knew this wasn't nightfall.
A darkness had settled around him. Keeping him isolated with only the lantern's light to show the horse still pulling the wagon along the path.
Adjusting his grasp of the reins, he pulled back on them. "Woah...!" Spring called to the horse, whose slow galloping stride came to a stand still. No sooner than he unhooked the lantern from its spot, did his movements halt as he heard—no, felt—a distinct rumble.
Spring remained unmoving. The rumble returned after a minute, this time accompanied by the unmistakable sound of a low roar. The rabbit moved the lantern, hoping its meager light would show him what hid in the dark.
There was a swoosh of breeze.
The lantern wasn't much help around the heavy shadow which surrounded him at all sides.

"We's all made your breakfast for you, Mama!" Jessie stated proudly. "And Jenny picked the flowers," BB added. Jenny nodded to confirm. Vixen gave each of her kids an appreciative look. "I'm sure it'll taste as good as it smells."
"If it don't," Jessie began. She glanced over towards her dad, who was leaning in the doorway watching them. "Then it'd be Papa's fault. He was helpin', to make sure we made you a delicious breakfast." Vixen laughed at the comment, while Foxy shook his head in amusement. "In that case, it'll taste great."
"Alright, you guys," Junior spoke up. "Let's let mom have her breakfast!" The others nodded, and after wishing their mom a good breakfast, the four kids all left the bedroom.
"So," Vixen began, looking to Foxy curiously. "No kids were left unattended in the kitchen in the making of this breakfast?" Foxy chuckled. "Don't ye worry, lass. T'was nothin' but smooth sailin' this mornin'." Vixen nodded in approval. "Happy to hear."
Before taking his own leave, (more to be sure the kids all helped clean the breakfast mess), Foxy went over to give Vixen a kiss 'good morning'. "A happy Mother's Day t'ya, Vix." Vixen hummed. "Thanks, love." Foxy gave her a small nod, turning to leave the room—closing the door partway for a little more peace and quiet while Vixen ate her breakfast.
Now alone to eat, Vixen first picked up the envelope from the tray. Eager to read its contents, predicting it would be lovingly written with sentiments from both twins expressing how much they loved her. The Mother's Day cards were always her favorite.
The community garden near the park trails was always something Francine loved about Newer Home. Initially, when she saw the sign stating the garden to be a project overlooked directly by King Asgore himself, Francine had just assumed it to be another community program he was simply ensuring was funded. That was until she'd noticed him gardening alongside the other town residents who used the garden. It was obvious to her that the Monster king knew what he was doing, as he tended to a lovely patch of colorful flowers—hybrid flowers, Francine had noticed. One exchange of pleasantries later, was when she finally learned of Asgore's love of gardening. So, the addition of a community garden in Newer Home made perfect sense.
Asgore wasn't at the garden now. No one else really was, which Francine had expected when she made it to the community garden that morning. She didn't often see early 'birds' at the garden, at least not in the short time she'd been using the community garden. A brief time that would be coming to an end soon, for now, that was.
The carefully selected flowers she'd been growing in the community garden, the rose hued Carnations, warm colored Gerber Daisies, multicolored Tulips, and even the Lilies—with their pink, and white fade petals—were ready for picking. That was exactly what Francine was here doing that morning. Making sure her dear mother would have a fresh bouquet of flowers as a centerpiece later that morning.
Francine had only just begun the task of picking the best of the flowers, when a voice from behind her spoke up. "Are those Carnations?" The bear glanced over her shoulder, spotting Frisk on the sidewalk, accompanied by one of the Skeleton brothers.

"Actually, I remember my parents telling me a story about the first time my grandparents met me after I was born."
Plushy listened curiously as his mom went on to tell her story. She hesitated long enough to check the road, before leading her son across and beginning to tell the story. "So, a few days after I was born, my grandparents—Great-Grandpa Seth and Great-Grandma Sabrina—they came down to visit us." Shine started. "Now, your Grandpa Phoebe was the only baby they'd had, so when they saw me, they didn't have too many other baby rabbits to compare me to."
"Huh? Compare you to?" Shine smirked, continuing. "I was a smaller baby than my mama had been, so when my grandparents saw me, they were treating me like I was a little, glass doll." Plushy began to grin. "So like, you were so small they thought they would accidentally break you?" Shine nodded, laughing a little.
"My mom and dad found it very funny, and very sweet. They eventually got used to me, though, especially when I started growing a little bigger. But my parents always laughed about it whenever they told me the story." Plushy was laughing, now, too. "That is funny!"
As the two made it onto their street, Shine went on to answer her son's initial question. "So, while I doubt that's how my family would treat you when you do meet them, I bet they'll think your the sweetest and worthy of being spoiled a bit, too." Plushy was smiling brightly upon hearing that. "I can't wait to meet them. You think Grandpa Sam will know where they are?"
"That's what we're hoping, baby." Shine answered, giving her son a look of confidence. Plushy hugged his mom's arm in response. "Yeah, me too!"
Classical music played through the house, coming from the CD player on the living room shelf. The pieces that were playing, he recognized easily. They were some of his wife's favorites, especially as she'd danced to them before. He recalled those memories fondly. She always moved with beauty and grace, no matter the ballet piece.
Lingering near the threshold of the living room, Puppet could hear the kitchen tap being turned off. After, he spotted his wife at the other end of the room, hands clasped in front of herself and her eyes closed as she listened to the music. He then noticed her foot beginning to tap rhythmically, as though she were counting herself into the timing of the music.
Ballora was about to gracefully move her straightened leg outwards to try a few, simple ballet moves as she counted the time of the song in her mind. Another's presence stopped her, and she opened her eyes to find her husband's outstretched hand being offered to her. Looking up at him, she was met with a soft smile. "May I?"
