i know it’s tempting to completely trust your feelings, but please remember that while your feelings are valid, they are not fact.

for people with BPD, perceived abandonment can feel like the end of the world. especially if that person has been abandoned before.

communication is incredibly important, to fact check to see if your feelings are lying to you or not. instead of spiralling immediately, try to use some DBT skills to calm down from crisis. when calm again; reach out to the person / people you feel are about to abandon you. reassurance can help immensely in situations like that.
