I feel like you're being purposely obtuse about the inherent unhealthy dynamic of a teen still figuring themselves out and a 24 year old with, assumably, more maturity and a job. This isn't even meant to be "hate" or whatever but the fact that you slept with an 18 year old (a high schooler) at 24 is just inarguably predatory behavior. I hope you get help someday.

nah I'm gonna come back to this. first off come off anon and at least pretend to speak to me like an adult. secondly, if you are so curious, when I was being pursued by "an 18 year old" I resisted this for actually quite a while, and my two closest friends can attest to the fact that I asked their advice on that being a weird age gap. Yes, I ultimately came around to the fact that I'd be making this person happy and trying my best to treat them well, and that outweighing any...concerns about, ahh, emotional maturity being a gateway for, say, power imbalance.

I was fresh out of a serious, lengthy relationship with someone I was deeply in love with (I based dogsled off of this when our drug habits and psychosis tore us and our world apart) when I took a chance on this. They were 42, I was 21. I cannot leave out that if I navigated a relationship with such a brazen age gap as that, and feeling no power imbalance, then I was primed pretty well for allowing myself to face an age gap over three times smaller I feel you may claim that I was also some form of "victim" for that. But I wasn't. Relationships in the real world are so much more complex than your theoretical system of abuse politics will allow you to believe.

I'm not certain if you care for any of this information. But I suppose I can thank you for giving me a channel to put some of my feelings down into words - however snarkily you chose to do so.

I hate to ask but is the only reason you followed me to Tumblr to say your strange funny little piece the simple fact that you are able to do it anonymously?
