reading — reading is a relaxing hobby that is very helpful for your mind, your spirit and your mood. reading helps you improve your vocabulary by introducing you to new words and phrases.

OLIVER TWIST ᜊ Charles Dickens ; Oliver Twist unromantically portrays the sordid lives of criminals and exposes the cruel treatment of the many orphans in London in the mid-19th century [ STATUS : READ, a beautiful book with a not so complex vocabulary, Charles Dickens is great at portraying the mistreatments that many orphans have dealt with that it feels unreal to think that they actually happened to many children ]

THE PICTURE OF DORIAN GRAY ᜊ Oscar Wilde ; The story revolves around a portrait of Dorian Gray painted by Basil Hallward, a friend of Dorian's and an artist infatuated with Dorian's beauty. Newly understanding that his beauty will fade, Dorian expresses the desire to sell his soul, to ensure that the picture, rather than he, will age and fade [ STATUS : ONGOING, a more complex and deep book that talks about various topics other than what beauty and aging is like. Oscar Wilde is a great writer, very recommended ]

CHRISTINE ᜊ Stephen King ; It tells the story of a car (a 1958 Plymouth Fury) apparently possessed by malevolent supernatural forces [ STATUS : TO READ, if you’re a fan of horror i suggest you this book, i think it could be interesting to read if you’re looking for a new horror book ]

REUNION ᜊ Fred Uhlman ; The book focuses on the impossible friendship between the narrator Hans Schwarz, son of a Jewish doctor, and Konradin von Hohenfels, a young aristocrat, during the rise of the Nazi regime (in 1932) in Stuttgart, Germany [ STATUS : TO READ, i read it when i was very young but i pretty much forgot the whole story. i suggest you this book if you’ve just started to read, since it’s a really short book ]
