Americans be like: My grandpa 😠😠😠 served in the Korean War 😠😠😠 and killed 9 people 😠😠😠 to fund his college degree in clownery 😠😠😠 Respect him or leave the country 😡😡😡🤬🤬🤬
That’s a super light story huh? My great grandfather got killed in action from a land mine to protect this country. If you don’t wanna respect the history or stand for a national anthem😁then leave to your peaceful home and fuck right off
How did your great grandpa stepping on a landmine protect this country

Happy Memorial Day
This was my actual favorite part of working in a theater. People would come in and use a string of words no human had ever uttered and I’d have to be like “ohhhhkay let’s parse this out.”
When we had Moonlight: Moonshine, Moonrise, Midnight, Nightlight, Nighttime, Twilight
My favorite in recent memory, though: “The Big Sick” = “The Fat Bad”
Don’t… Don’t movie theaters have…the names of the movies… Right… There?
Ah, see, the problem here is that you’re making the common mistake of assuming people bother to read anything. At all. At any given point. When in the presence of customer service worker.

I also had you in my dreams recently. I was in Resident Evil Village and trying to get away from all the monsters. Finally found a tunnel I thought would lead out. I get a decent ways through and I hear something behind me. Glance over my shoulder and I see you charging me screaming "WHY ARE YOU RUNNING". Woke up laughing instead of from a nightmare, so thanks for that
EVERYTHING IS FINE
wheres that picture of like the performers at the bolshoi or somewhere reading about gagarin going into space during intermission while all still in costume
hell fucking yes
Wonderful, and resonant, remember the Bolshoi ballerinas watching Russia play in the World Cup on a phone in 2018?
I feel like starting an INSUFFERABLE conversation
Is it ethical to thirst for Catholic milves
Completely disregarding the intent but did you just refer to multiple milfs as milves
Yeah like elves or wolves. It’s how you conjugate it or whatever 🙄

crying wojak mask meme: my faith is strong!
‘believing’ in science is not a belief in science as process it is a belief in science as an abstract object genetically determined by what is present within hegemonic discourse. this is why we use the term scientism to describe this behavior. the academic territory we enter his the estuary of religious and secular thought: hermeneutics. the strength of jewish religious thought is in its weak faith in the object of religion and corresponding strong faith in the process of religion. this results in a dynamic living faith that challenges adherents rather than being a crumbling silent edifice demanding maintenance from adherents in anxious being. it’s no accident that this weak-object strong-process orientation is present in secular jewish thinkers (marx, freud, kuhn, derrida, etc). so, per above, there’s a real issue in christian process theology from the strong object commitment and it results in the development of postmodern theology cribbing wholecloth from derrida who uses weak-object constructions of morality and justice. john d caputo, an american christian theologian, develops a reconception of christian religious process as weak theology as very derivative corrective. maybe this is just because my experience with extremely online religious thought involves a lot more people in active and critical study but caputo is not an obscure figure at all so i find it very curious that these very online christians are so caught up still in strong-object orientated religious thought.
