what would completely break your character?

as in canon, the death of her son completely shattered her. as a child, she was separated from her family. she herself lost her mother, her father, her brothers. and even with ivar, baldur was her shining hope. the love she had for him was more than she had ever felt for anything. he was her family. when he was taken from her it broke her. it felt like her heart was torn from her chest and she had nothing more to live for.

what seemingly insignificant memories stuck with your character?

the flowers her mother used to braid in her hair. she could remember the smell of them, and when she was to be brought before ivar for the first time they were the flowers she wove into her hair.

what would your character make a scene in public about?

she knows better than to make a public scene. everything freydis does is thought out, even her outbursts are saved for private to save face. she’s lived a life in which every action could have a potential consequence and she’s learned the benefits of being discreet.

what are your character’s major flaws?

her ambition. she is completely blinded by it. her need to have what she lost, to possibly have more and be able to rise from the bottom that she fell to when her father was exiled is what drives her and in the end it is also what led to her death.
