It’s really comforting to think that Jesus dealt with anxiety and loneliness in His life. Even surrounded by followers and Disciples, He still felt alone in the world.
He foresaw all the sins of mankind, all He’d have to atone for through His Passion, and experienced so much anxiety and fear that He sweat drops of blood.
He lost His footing and fell down carrying the Cross. The Stations of the Cross cite three times He fell, but in reality it was far more than that. He needed help from a stranger, and one who, at first, dreaded having to aid Him at that.
He cried out in pain a few times and asked His Father why He had forsaken Him. He felt, even for a moment, a sense of despair and hopelessness.
After what I’ve gone through in the past month, it’s really comforting to think that Jesus felt what I did, He went through the feelings I went through, even as God Incarnate.
No matter what some Christians say, mental illness is not a sin. Anxiety is not “not trusting God enough,” depression is not “a lack of faith.” They are sufferings Christ Himself bore.
If you need someone to talk to, just message me or send an ask :-)
And whenever I looked at her, I hated him. I hated him because he took her heart and only returned half of it. Because he took her laugh and quieted it. Because he took her smile and broke it.
Excerpt from a story I may never write #3 (via frickin-nuggets)
Then I realized I was counting every encounter we had; re-playing every conversation; memorizing every detail of who you are. Then I realized what had happened to me, what I’d done. And, man, I knew I was screwed.
I accidentally fell in love with my best friends brother (via frickin-nuggets)
And now he loves me back.
""Goodnight, I love you." he says. "More than anyone still?" I ask. "No, not "still." Now more than ever." He says. And I want to ask why. But I don't, because I know he's tired. So I just say, "okay." And fall asleep thinking about how happy he makes me."

Years ago, men would always ask the women around them if anyone minded if they’d smoke. And I once made this remark to someone I knew and he replied by saying something sexist. I knew he’d said it because he was thinking that men having to ask the women was sexist. But when women smoking became more normal, they’d ask to. Everybody would ask permission. You see, the reason it’s not sexist is because, the male species doesn’t own the air; nor does the female species own the air. We share it. In fact, it only seems fair that a person ask the people around them if it’s okay that they smoke. They should have to ask permission to pollute the clean air we’re breathing, to pollute our lungs. And maybe we say, “Sure, go ahead.” Or maybe we say, “I’d rather you didn’t.” Either way, it’s nice, it’s kind, it’s a curtesy, chivalry, whatever you want to call it, it’s swell that they cared enough about our air and lungs to ask. And I wish it was still a common occurrence.
This is one of the most well-written things I've ever posted on here.. why doesn't it have more notes??

I didn’t think it was very realistic in the movie and it turns out, it’s pretty realistic.

I can’t believe that the two greatest party songs of all time (I Gotta Feeling and Party Rock Anthem) came out within two years of each other and mankind will never create a better party song
Some people have been defending various other party songs in the notes, and while I respect all of your opinions, the only song that can qualify as a POTENTIAL exception is Tik Tok by Ke$ha
What about Allstar, great for every occasion
All Star is, in my opinion, the Greatest Song of All Time™ and while it great for every occasion, the three above are the best suited for parties. Like rich chocolate is good for every dessert, but milk goes better with Oreos than more chocolate, ya know?
I was not ready for such an educated response but completely agree
I come prepared for this discourse
