can we take a moment on how genuinely impactful having UNSTABLE as a frontpage part of your life is? hours in front of a computer, on a discord call, editing softwares, camera angle mods, general mods, voice, the entire works, how genuinely NEGATIVE that can be on a *PERSON*?

yeah it sucks we don't get a full update round, but that doesn't mean they're NOT trying or they're just not interested like holy shit people I'm sorry not really 😭

They're all people as well like they deserve an actual life, and that includes breaks and their own personal agendas.

yeah. they did. they CHOSE to do this they didn't have to spend those hours and days, they didn't have to give us this world And universe along with their characters, they didn't need to do ANY of that and yet they did. Not just for us but for themselves as well.

so yes. we have had multiple flame updates over the others. but actually think on that PLEASE. They can/will be busy, the plot needs to line up, personal lives coming up, bigger plans in motion, like in my opinion id wait if it meant we got a video that they feel okay with over rushing.

unpopular opinion probably but I actually like that ao3 doesn’t let people take back their kudos.

unlike social media platforms (which ao3 is not) where people unlike stuff whenever they think or find out the original posters’ moral compass doesn’t perfectly align with their own’s or whatever, and “likes” can be taken back at any time, ao3 treats kudos as something sacred. once you give it, it’s the author’s to keep forever.

nonchalance eradicating UU HCS part I: Wemmbu!!

I really like giving nonchalant characters headcanons that just completely eradicate their chances at actually being perceived as nonchalant

for example:

wemmbu purrs. when he’s happy or relaxed he can’t really help it. he tries so incredibly hard to keep it secret and fails spectacularly.

Egg discovered this early on in the Proton skybase because their beds were so close together. He heard Wemmbu purring when they went to bed after a successful retaliation against Zam and had an epiphany.

Parrot found out before this, when he hid from Clown in Wemmbu’s civilization. After they won the battle against Zam’s team, when Parrot and Wemmbu went to talk about Parrot’s next moves, Wemmbu was purring and Parrot had a very hard time pretending he didn’t notice. Wemmbu insisted Parrot keep it a secret, and, to his credit, he did.

Mane found out after Wemmbu’s near-victory during their spar when Mane was being disloyal to Zam empire and helping out Wemmbu with his civ. Mane laughed about it a good amount but didn’t have much room to tease given he’s a type of cat.

Egg: “Wemmbu purrs.”

Zam: “no he doesn’t.”

“HE DOES”

“PROVE IT”

“YOU HAVE TO MAKE HIM HAPPY FIRST”

Wemmbu is SUCH a good character because he's such a SUBTLE character. But at the same time you know his motivations, you know influences, you see firsthand Why he is the way that he is, but he overall SEEMS unchanged. Like the person he is now (where I'm at, like I only just finished Pirate Arc) is like, how he always projected himself to be. It's always been his persona, but he slowly just becomes that person. He's always portrayed himself as a chaotic jerk who says he likes killing (but literally has killed no one until Training Arc) and he was just playing that, but you sorta watch and realize that's who he Is now. But he's still himself, you know? Am I making sense?

Egg is the Null Commander. I will not be accepting anything else, he got bored waiting for Wemmbu to come save him from Arachnid having beaten that spider after the purge and is now waiting for Wemmbu to come pick him up at the castle bc he can't see.
