a racist to these people is only someone who is screaming racial slurs directly at you - they choose the definition. all other racist behaviour is incidental and easy to sweep under the rug. a pedophile to these people is someone who, contrary to the "sexually attracted to children" definition, is actively sexually abusing children and sharing CSEM - they choose the definition. all other pedophilic behaviour is incidental and easy to sweep under the rug.
