“Waiting is one of the hardest parts of following God.

You pray.

You prepare.

You remain faithful

Yet it seems like nothing is happening.

Sometimes you begin to wonder if God has forgotten you.

But God's delays are never God's denials.

He is not making you wait because He enjoys watching you struggle

He is preparing you for what you have been praying for.

“For the vision awaits its appointed time... Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.” Habakkuk 2:3

Think about Joseph.

He waited years before the dream God gave him became reality.

Think about Abraham.

He waited decades before holding the son God had promised.

Think about David.

He was anointed as king long before he ever wore the crown.

God has never been early.

God has never been late.

He has always been right on time.

And when His appointed time arrives, no person can stop it.

No closed door can delay it.

No opinion can cancel it.

No obstacle can stand in its way.

What God has ordained for your life will come to pass in His perfect timing.

So do not despise the waiting season.

It is often where God builds the character needed to carry the blessing.

Keep trusting.

Keep obeying.

Keep showing up.

Because when God says, "It's time,"

No force on earth can stop what heaven has already released. ❤️‍🔥”

Now that is a cry that we all need to hear — the death-cry of all creature-confidence for man at his very best is only like grass in the flower. It will be mown down in due time, but if the scythe comes not near it, yet will it fade in its season, for it is a transient thing, and every hope and confidence which is based upon that which is seen must be temporal and must pass away. All the joy that you have tonight — all the hope and all the confidence you have which is based upon an earthly thing — must by degrees all disappear. Nothing is eternal but that which springs out of the eternal. Unless our hope be in the Lord alone, that hope will at some time or other fail us; and this is a cry we need to hear because, until we are sick of the creature, we shall not turn to the Creator. Till we have done with false confidences, we shall not make God our trust.
