I think tumblr is unhealthy, especially for younger teens that use this site. Tumblr not only promotes misanthropy (“i hate everyone,” “can u not,” “ur basic,” etc.) but also romanticizes very serious physical and mental disorders. Depression is now “tragically beautiful,” glorified by black-and-white pictures of thin girls with slashed wrists, overlaid by somber captions. Depression is a mental disorder with varying physical symptoms. I feel like depression and other mental disorders have been trivialized by this site, which is a step backward for people who are actually depressed. I also think tumblr is unhealthy in terms of how it teaches people to think. Both younger and older teens are very malleable, and the mentality of entitlement perpetuated is in no way reflective of reality. I understand that some of this way of thinking is humor, but I don’t think many people realize that most people do not take radical liberals/feminists seriously in the “real world."

I needed to add this in here as this made me laugh my ass off

I found myself being very impressed by the character designs and how the elements from the logo is mixed with the stereotype of cars and the car owners of said brand. This is what I tried to do with my character; have elements from the logo, stereotype of penguins and qualities from Edward Young, the first original designer of the logo.

I love the Z30 Toyota Soarer and Lexus SC400/300. When this car came out it was so hi-tech and ahead of its time in terms of styling. It really took on the local luxury coupe scene.
