agreeing to accompany ethan came was an enough decision for kenna. she knows what its like to be the unmarried child, bound for a life of blind dates and mismatches until finally settling down. it’s far more unpleasant than the fathering he’s invited her too. there’s enjoyment to be found in watching his interactions with family and she’s never one to turn down a drink. she’s got one mid grasp when she feels a hand on her own and she secures it before focusing her attention on whats caught his. “well it’s one way to keep your mom from setting you up again,” head tilts thoughtfully as she raises the cup to her lips, “depends on how single you want your family to think you are. we goin’ all in?”

Well, this was the last thing Eloise expected on her morning coffee run. Mixed feelings rose up in her chest as she considered whether to approach them or not. What would she even say? Alas, she waited too long and they spotted her before she could tuck tail and run, so she gave the most awkward wave of her life. “Hey, what are you doing here?” Honestly, she never thought she would see them again.

My mom still stays up on Fremont, so we try to get together when we can. How you been?”
