Why the long pause it's been 2 years since you posted
Hey, thanks for your concern. I’m glad that you’re still interested in seeing me post.
Over the past couple years, I’ve been pretty busy with commission work, so I had trouble finding time to draw. But the commission work I’ve been doing isn’t drawings, so I’m actually incredibly out of practice now. So whenever I try to start working on the comics again, I have to basically remember what I’m doing all over again.
I would like to make another post, though. I still have a lot of ideas lined up. Maybe I should at least start with something small so I can get back in practice again.
In your idea what's the most usless type of weapons in skyrim,in my idea the staffs (sorry for the ba english)
Sorry for the late response!
Yes, I agree that staffs are pretty useless. Although, I think that’s mostly just because of my style of gaming. I kind of forget that they’re there. Though, it is pretty useful to be able to use them for spells when my mana is out. Or also to give to followers. (But for the love of God, don’t give a Fireball staff to a follower unless you want a lot of collateral).
The only thing I use even less often are the scrolls. Again, mostly because I forget that I have them and don’t make a habit of it. Theoretically, they sound like they would be pretty cool and useful, but in practice, I end up just clutching until I defeat the enemy.
Alright. That is a vague question, so I’m giving a broad answer. By which I mean, I’m getting carried away with my answer. Gotta cover all my bases here. And I would’ve drawn the whole thing as a comic, but that would’ve taken forever. So I’ll summarize the beginning before moving on…
First off, Perla never knew her parents, though she was born in Cyrodiil, and was born with a different name. *** grew up as an orphan until she was old enough to start making money for herself. She got her first job as an extra hand on a farm. After saving up her pay for about a month or so, she decided to get herself something nice as a celebration.
In the market, she comes across a sketchy merchant selling a cheap necklace. It was very pretty with an uncharacteristically low price. Clearly there was something wrong with the necklace, but ***’s understanding of all things magical was so lacking that she didn’t notice it was enchanted. She buys the Necklace of Incompetence.
From that point onward, she ruins everything she does. She’s fired from her farm job and every job she gets after. Each and every odd job she picks up, she manages to do wrong. Unfortunately, because she’s Incompetent, *** never makes the connection that all her failures are the result of the necklace. It gets to the point where no one in Cyrodiil will hire her.
Clearly, this means she needs to look for work in areas other than Cyrodiil, so she steals herself away onto a wagon she hears is headed for Skyrim… Then, of course, she’s arrested and her necklace is confiscated.
During her escape from Helgen, while cutting through the Stormcloaks in her way, she realizes that she isn’t messing anything up. That’s right, murder is the first thing she does right. Overjoyed, she asks Hadvar to give her a new name, claiming she must be a new person. He settles on “Perla,” which is terrible, but she accepts it.
Now Perla sets out to make her life in Skyrim with the jobs she hadn’t done in Cyrodiil; thievery, murder, and apparently adventuring.
