about yuma being a cannibal [it’s probably not true!!] under the cut

alot of people seem to believe that yuma eats people because of a line on the diabolik lovers wiki stating “In one of the first magazine issues that spoke about him, it was revealed that Yuma doesn't mind consuming the complete body of his victim”; it has no source to what this magazine is, and i have never seen anyone give actual evidence that yuma in particular engages in this sort of behaviour

honestly i believed this too until i read a post from the wayback machine by vampiretsuki [whose tumblr is now unfortunately deleted] who investigates this and finds no evidence that yuma is a cannibal

there is a very short window of time between when the mukami brothers were revealed at rejet fes 2013 and the game’s release in oct 2013- alongside this, surely if this was common knowledge the jp fandom would of also talked about it but it doesn’t seem so

when I first watched the anime I commented that yuma acted like a 'manchild' 😭 yet something made me interested in him regardless... before I knew it he had become my favorite

I think Tatsuhisa Suzuki does a great job of selling his character (despite what he did...) and i also didnt realise until way too late he also voices my one and only niche fav vicious too
