This was nice? To be fair, it was much milder than other days so he didn't have to wrap up as much but it was still cold. "Sure. Maybe walking will heat us up a bit" he stated before starting to walk in the direction his map said.

for someone who was usually quite jumpy, she really didn’t notice him moving closer. keeping her eyes on the christmas tree in front of the shop even if the lights were too bright for her. what a wonderful thing! even if she didn’t fully understand the meaning of it. for once, the touch to the top of her head didn’t scare eun-mi – it almost made her think for a moment that she was back home with her brother until she heard his voice. looking up to seok-jin for a moment before quietly nodding. “ i’ve never seen that many lights together a-and so colorful… ”
Christmas was something he barely noticed now. It had never been a holiday that caught his attention until the festivities had become almost an eyesore. And yet seeing how excited she was about it almost made him enjoy the season himself. The lights that littered the street, the animal mascots he didn't quite understand the meaning of, the decorations -- Excusing himself for a moment, he stepped inside of the store before returning some time later. A bauble held up infront of the girl, the ribbon wrapping around his fingers while the inside held a small angel that lit up brightly.
"To take home" he spoke softly, handing it to her. "She'll protect you."

her heart was racing and for a moment she wondered if accepting this was just too much for her nerves. he didn’t seem as bad as she had expected though, but ha-yun couldn’t help but feel nervous. “ o-okay ” pause. “ do you know where it is? ”
Cue a pause from the male as he thought for a moment. "Couldn't we ask a cab driver?" It made the most sense. Even so, he pulled out his phone to start looking for a map before showing her. "It's not too far, actually. We could walk if you want."

she had never seen anything quite like this – or even close to it. all the stores decorated, so many bright lights ( for someone that sometimes didn’t even have power back home, seeing that was almost… shocking ) and the songs… eun-mi didn’t think she’d ever get used to it.
this particular store at the most beautiful decoration of them all. and while all the lights ended up hurting her eyes, the korean couldn’t help but stare. fingers laced together, eun-mi just stood there, staring at the decoration at awe, forgetting about the world around her for now. “ pretty… ”
It was hard not to notice how she stuck out like a sore thumb. With her waiting on him to leave the building, he slowly walked over but remained quiet so as not to disturb her little moment of wonder. The lights and music no doubt an odd thing for someone such as herself to encounter. How dark must it have been up there that her eyes sparkled so much now? His hand going to the top of her head, he rested it there until she noticed him.
"You like it?"

ha-yun hesitated, slightly nervous to be talking to the male. “ w-why wouldn’t we be allowed to go there? ” at least she couldn’t think of a reason.
He paused. That's right, only he had those restrictions growing up. His hand reached around to rub at the opposite side. "No reason. Let's go then."

“ i-i’m not supposed to stay out for long but… i suppose i still have some time to spare. ” ha-yun paused for a moment. “ oh! maybe we could go to the aquarium? ”
This whole pairing idea that their agency had come up with was a joke. But he would at least put on a brave face. "The aquarium?" he asked, pausing for a moment. "Are we allowed?"

He had just finished up making some lunches for them to take tomorrow along with some treat packs for Haji and Cheo that would keep them happy. A smile at the sight of Natsuki beaming over the clean pup and he went over to lightly pet the pup's fur. "I bet you've missed her, huh? I hope Cheo will be okay meeting Elizabeth. She's still really timid."

she kept her bag close to herself, arms in front of her as she quietly followed the male, staying as close to him as possible as if that was going to help her. the noises were being left behind and she couldn’t have been more thankful. blinking once they stopped, the smell of the food made her stomach rumble but eun-mi didn’t expect him to offer her anything. shaking her head side to side, the brunette opened her bag, searching for any money she might still have left there.
No doubt in being the timid kind she found it difficult to accept an offer in such a way. So, he went against her and made an order of the most popular food on the menu. The dakkochi prepared and soon handed to him with words of gratitude shared, Seok-Jin held the skewers out towards the girl and refused to pull his hand away until it was taken. His own food being given attention as he turned to keep walking. "Where do you live?" he asked, knowing it'd be best for her if he got her home quickly.

everything was so… scary. the people were loud, the lights were so much brighter than she was used to, it almost hurt to look around. hand moving to twirl with a strand of hair, a nervous habit eun-mi had ever since she was a kid. she kept her gaze on him, that face that looked so oddly familiar even though she knew he didn’t know him – well, other than their previous encounter. a glance given to the direction he pointed at and the brunette nodded. follow him. yeah, she could do that.
Even as they walked, he kept his attention on making sure she was alright. Subtle glances made back towards the girl every so often to check that she wasn't getting left behind or wasn't panicking more than he originally thought, Seok-Jin lead her along the busy streets until he stepped in to ones that were quieter. A small food stall at the side becoming his next stop where he pointed to an item on the menu. Wallet taken out and he turned to the girl again, nudging her towards the selection. "Choose something."
"Maybe an arranged marriage wouldn't be so bad ..?"

she could leave but that meant getting through everyone and… she still wanted to talk to him. well, if she could. steps taken to the side to get as much distance from everyone as possible, the fact that most of them were already leaving making her feel relieved. holding the strap of her bag firmly until her knuckles turned white, eun-mi looked up to him. would he remember her? she didn’t forget. lips parted and the korean took a deep breathe. “ i-i… ” such a pathetic attempt at speaking, not even she could hear herself. a sudden noise from the people walking by making her glance at her surroundings for a moment.
In a way, he could understand her timid nature. He was the same when he had first come to the city. Intimidated by the lights and sounds, the many people who all seemed in a hurry while he had no idea where to go. Yet he still couldn't place where he had come to know her from. Looking around, he soon turned around but kept his eyes on the girl for a moment, nudging his head in the direction he was going to walk as a way of telling her to follow him. No doubt she needed a chance to just relax and breathe so he’d do what he could to give her that.

she didn’t notice the people gathering around them. eun-mi had been one of the first to stop to listen and… well, had she noticed everyone she probably wouldn’t have stood there, but the korean was just too focused on the song to move. the applause bringing her back to reality as she looked around, eyes widening slightly in fear before her attention turned to him. just ignore them, you’ll be fine.
In time, the crowd began to disperse as the musician made it clear he was taking a break. The cello now ignored as he reached down for a bottle of water that he took a small sip from before eyes fell on a somewhat familiar face in the crowd. A girl he was sure he had seen before but couldn't place where. Was she ... uncomfortable? The cello then put in his case, he got ready to leave and placed the instrument on his back before walking over towards her. Eyes scanning her up and down for a moment in hopes of remembering who she was. "You're pale." Was she sick?
