I’ve become slightly addicted to Skydancers lately and I wanted to play around with an iri/toxin/thylacine combo. Sooooo I tried to find some matches with the accent colours!

Gonna be opening for some Wildclaw adopts soon! :D finished the base yesterday and tested it on some of my friends’ dragons. Going to post a topic soon, still thinking of pricing and other stuff. Will most likely be just doing genes (and really simple accents) but no apparel for now. The background will be the dragon’s element colour unless otherwise requested.

Coatl and Skydancer versions coming up as well later on!

Like, i know there isn’t specifically a rule against it, but…well…

I like the eye colors of my dergs already, and I’d rather have the skin on a derg with orange eyes tbh, because i love the orange and blue combo :/

And just watch it be one of the winners too. Just wait and see.

Skins and accents automatically get the eye part covered by your dragon’s eyes anyway though

I thought that it just wasn’t allowed, but wasn’t there a skin during one of the last two festivals that had colored eyes? I feel like I saw it and got confused.

The might have coloured the eyes in past festival skins, but the layering on FR makes sure that your dragon’s eyes will always be at the top layer.

I remember seeing one of those dragons with “skin over different breed” bug, I think it’s a perma-baby with an adult full-cover skin. The skin basically covered the whole perma-baby with the baby’s eyes popped up on the wings of the skin. It scared me when I saw it. LOL. So don’t worry, whether they colour the eyes don’t matter. It’s just they had wasted the time colouring the eyes.

That’s not what I’m getting at though. From what I recall, the Living Vein skin from this years Rockbreaker’s covers the eyes and turns them an ivory color. I remember it because when I was previewing I thought my dragon wasn’t loading because the eyes didn’t change.

Ah it’s a forum glitch, it doesn’t display the dragon’s real eyes properly in the forum post previews but it works in your hoard/on the dragon’s page.

The rule in the custom skins section:

Q: Can I change a dragon's eye color via a Custom Skin or Accent?Not at this time. Eye color is indicative of the dragon's elemental heritage, and the prime visual representation of its flight identity, which is something we'd like to preserve.

basically just means that you are not ABLE to change the dragon’s eyes no matter what you do and even if you colour them on the skin/accent - the dragon’s own eyes will always overlap the skin.

I hatched some bd ID dragons today, got messages about most of them and sent them over to people but in case anyone is still looking for #19950205 (imp) or #19950131 (PC) hit me up!

WaHHHH just did my first scatterscroll ever, was worried it’s gonna be something absolutely horrible but ended up getting Magenta/Violet/Navy :D wooo!

She was previously Seafoam/Silver/Ice if I remember correctly (forgot to write it down ghhh)

The first colours were alright too but I’m a lot more into pinks/purples *_* so pretty happy!! She’s gonna be a big and expensive geneing project tho haha but it’s fun playing around in the scrying workshop and seeing the potential

Got her off the AH some time ago for really cheap considering her age (over 2 years old and low 7 digit ID) and was gonna resell her but might just keep her now!
