reminds me of the time someone was talking about their crush during physics class and someone told them that the worst the girl they had a crush on could do was say no and then they said “no she can do a lot worse than say no” and so i started to talk to them about peacock spiders and how their courting works then ended it with “so if YOU think that getting eaten alive is worse than her saying no then by all means her saying no is the worst thing that can happen. it all depends on you rly” and they looked at me and just stood there like 🧍
