didja see my post Care? :3
A small tutting sound left the lips of the priest as he met the eyes of the boy before him.
“Hold your tongue boy.” He spoke the words evenly folding his hands in his robe. The boy had become a man only in physical appearance. That time that has lapsed between them had not changed the boy’s unwise nature in any manner. He seemed to be under the impression that his counterproductive actions had somehow given him a right to speak in such a way.
“Surely you have not become entirely foolish as you have grown.” He stated the words with a care. The boy needed to hear the truth. After all, it was only what was best from him and he had dedicated his life to guiding lost souls onto a true pathway. Far be it from him to allow this one under his watch to slip away into eternal damnation.
The world was cruel, the world was wicked…
He glared down at his folded hands rather than the man beside him. Working the frustration out of his jaw as he moved it around, stiff and testy. ‘Unwise’ nature would be to put it mildly. The Priest had no idea what he did for a living, who he worked for, how he managed his life and hungered for more suffering. He ignored him and his past, his origins and redeeming qualities because they would only weaken the image of himself he had built up in his mind. Cold and monstrous, for a man alone.
“Forgive me,” he replied unsure if he’d said the words to just get the old man off his back or whether he actually meant them. “Forgive me Father for I… have… sinned.” He spoke the last few disjunct and direct - honest and nearly spitting out the words he would recite in Mass that had more meaning to him than any single follower out there - or any other average person for that matter. For when he looked up into the man’s weathered, serene face he saw traces of an identity he’d long been running from.
"Mm." Frollo released a heavy breath that had seemed to be resting in his lungs for ages long. His aged hands entangled with one another as he pursed her lips nodding to the properly hunched form of the boy.
"You are forgiven." His austere inflection reflected nothing more than mild recognition as his furrowed brow angled down with a look of deep disdain. It was a proper thing the boy had done to realize his true roots and where he belonged. Living in a darkened world the boy had likely seen sins glorified upon every street he trod upon. He was firmly aware that he had a duty to cleanse himself, as he knew he was impure from his time out there with the degradation and false gods.
"I am only concerned for the well being of your soul, therefore I shall continue your teaching for as long as you surround me. I consider it a part of my mission as a man of God to straighten your way. Tell me boy, have you already fallen into the wiles of this begrimed society?" He questioned curiously. He was clearly interested in the clarity of the boy's daily vision. Perhaps he had some matter of wits about him for navigating through this abyss of darkness.
The lines around the older man’s eyes wrinkled as he squinted to carefully analyze the Word through his spectacles.
“It is good to see you back in the church.” The priest commented turning the page with care as he took in every word.
He had been fortunate enough to find himself a place in the sanctuary. Each day he lived a life of gratitude constantly growing closer in his daily walk. His life had gone well except for this reminder of sin that now stood before him. He quickly formed the sign of the cross before gently closing his Bible and placing within his inside pocket. It was best to have the Word close to your heart after all.
“Why is it that I have to want something?” He inquired carefully running his fingers along the cool wooden pew. His tone dropping into the deepened baritone that he had often used to keep the wily boy in line.
“You might choose selfishness but do not place such a sinful mindset upon me.”
He wanted to scoff at that, however he kept his tongue in check. This was the one place he was constrained to uphold some civility, some morality, some….faith. Even if he found his own belief’s wavering with time.
Gaston found himself wanting to say something cruel but his lips remained closed, silent as if he was bound to by some higher force, to ignore his own vulgarity and present himself in a respectful manner before the man of God.
“I will do as I please,” he grumbled, clearing his throat and sat down, his bangs falling in front of his left eye. “Do not preach to me as if I’m still six.”

Gaston stood across from the man of faith and strict integrity, still and stoic. After many, many years determined to avoid him. His only claim left to humanity, next to his pathetic half brother, finally had given in and come to him. For the first time in months, Gaston felt something....

Frolls: I burned down all of Paris in your name, my darling.
Esme: -swoons- Oh Frolls! You’re so romantic when you pillage…!
Esme and Frolls: AHAHAHAHAHA~! <3
Our dates are wonderful.
I can’t wait to spend time with you again, my dear.
OOC: Woo! My first art response! I really enjoyed doing this!
It’s kinda sloppy, but I’m pretty happy with how it came out. :3
I hope you guys like it!
~ Jelly <3
By the way, Frollo’s face is ridiculously fun to draw.
Hades and Frollo
Daria: -looks at him reluctantly as he kisses her hand- Daria, and yours? -takes hand away- And I have to inform you that you’re being just a bit too forward.
Recently -grumbles under his breath with a frown- That girl is the true cheap imitation nothing like her at all…-looks up at Daria- If you find her pleasant then I cannot fault you for it. However I merely view that one as a colleague. She tends to be quite high minded. It is good to hear that perhaps she has become more seasoned due to this place.

Imitation? *is slightly confused at his words* I don’t understand what you mean, neither is an imitation of the other… They both have certain small differences that I haven’t really been able to figure out yet. I may know which I met first, but I do know that they were both exceptionally kind to me.
(via daria-tar)
-his eyes widen in shock as he steps forward- You know? -narrows eyes in concentration- But you can't know. How do you know?
Mic: He’s amused at your dissatisfaction and likes being a troll *pops him with Emily’s ten foot broom*
Clio: What dissatisfaction? (via tar-clio)
Frollo: -chuckles to self and walks off-
Not only do I like your blog (haha I found it) but I also am OBSESSED with you secretly. Ok here we go.. I think you like me too and you were always too shy to admit it :3 go to crushmautches. Then look up the profile 'gottagetme10' (me obviously) I left body pictures.. if you can guess who I am hit me up and we'll hang soon.
I regret to inform you gottagetme10 that I am currently in the grieving process. If it was not depressing enough that the only woman I ever loved preferred a half-naked zombie, and a penniless flesh eating kelpie to me now I am getting spam from your misspelled dating site reminding me how truly alone I am in this bleak world.
So no I will not "hit you up" and we will not "hang" unless you wish to hang that woman Tuya.
Daria: -looks at him reluctantly as he kisses her hand- Daria, and yours? -takes hand away- And I have to inform you that you’re being just a bit too forward.
You can take it however you want, rude or not. So you’re a shinigami? That’s interesting.
(via daria-tar)
-his eyes widen just slightly as he lets out a small chuckle- What a statement. You are quite an intriguing woman. -straightens his suit with a look of pride- My profession is quite interesting indeed. I am responsible for most of the Shinigami. I mainly assign jobs, make decisions, things such as that. I hardly do field work these days unless I find it absolutely necessary.
(via frollo-tar)
*notices how he goes on about his work and duties and smiles to herself* That seems like such a hard job, I mean, being in charge of all of that. I actually have a very dear friend who’s a shinigami, maybe you know her. Her name is Esmeralda.
(via daria-tar)
It is a difficu- -his breath catches in his throat at her name as he glances down quickly at the name- Esmeralda…she’s your friend I see. *grimaces glancing down as the memories of his Esme dying run through his mind* You must of met her recently. Delightful little thing isn’t she. -grimaces his heels digging in the ground- So perfect and without a flaw beside her mother.
(via frollo-tar)
I met her during the Yule ball, but I had seen her before that often enough… *frowns at his reaction* Is something wrong? She helped me through some rough times recently… She’s a very kind person.

Current and accurate reaction.

-eyes lower slightly wondering if he’s being insulted- That is a slightly rude gesture is it not? -slowly displays a grin as he meets her eyes- I simply speak truth for a Shinigami does not enjoy lying.

However, a man cannot help but appreciate a beautiful woman -looks at her curiously- maybe if you were to smile your radiance would truly shine. (via frollo-tar)
You’re so corny… -rolls eyes- I’m certainly flattered that you saw it fit to compliment me, in any case. -small smile-
