I looked up if there's a high temperature version of hibernation and there is! It's called Aestivation. More common in animals like invertebrates, fish, reptiles, mollusks and the like.

So now I'm imagining a slightly more specific scenario. Small froglike prey needs to aestivate somewhere safe and humid during the hot and dry season so they don't dry up. ❤️

this is a shitpost but I think it's not THAT wrong. Most kink is either one of (or a combination of):

You get to play at having power over someone else. This is your dominance sorts of things, your sadisms, etc.

You get to play safely. You can play with scary things while knowing there's safewords and a dom/top who loves you.

Feet. By which I mean, there's some normal part of the human experience that your brain has for some reason fixated on. Maybe you're into red hair, or glasses, or fluffy tails.

On one hand, the fleshy organic belly is a tried and true classic for a very good reason. Its comforting wetness, its tactile pliability... the way it expands and contracts on the ticks of an internal clock, of a beating heart instead of a winding gear. It's imperfect, and unpredictable.

But on the other hand, a machine belly is unique and very rarely seen! The perfectly carved, tailored, manufactured space inside the deep crevices of a metalwork... comfortable in its own way, with its synthetic cushioning and its soothing hums and whirrs.

Maybe I have to give the edge to machine bellies, because robots gotta stick together! And because I haven't been in enough of them, so I want to try out more 🤍

Here's a thought: comfort vore, but it's for the pred's comfort. Maybe they'd been so anxious for the prey for some reason that they need to nom them just to be sure, or maybe having a full belly just helps them relax. Prey doesn't mind, even tho the pred is probably gonna be falling asleep and keeping them stuck for a while.

💙I like your thought. I believe my ideal comfort vore is where both parties are comforted by it, whether that be inherently tied to the act itself and the snuggle-esque closeness it provides, or relief from something like anxiety or exhaustion.

Also, a special shoutout to sleeping in vore. It's such a fun way of showing comfort and trust, and one we all appreciate very much.

another idea: hivemind of lego-type building bricks. like there's thousands of bricks that are all one conscious entity. and they loooove to build themself into the perfect home/hiding place/what have you for any friend. and they can't hide how excited they are to have someone inside them
