We all procrastinate. And that’s ok! So if you’re going to procrastinate, you might as well get something out of it. Here are some tips on how to avoid doing your work while also getting shit done.

Clean your room. Make your bed, organize your desk, whatever you need to do to create a nice environment.

Wash and fold your laundry.

Write a journal entry. Whether this means doodling or writing out paragraphs of your thoughts, it will help get you in that productive mindset.

Make a to do list.

Make plans with someone for later in the day, and let it be motivation for you to get everything done by that time.

Prepare a meal (and eat it!)

Update your contacts. Get rid of anyone who you haven’t spoken to in the past three years, and set the most important people in your life as your favorites.

Make some new playlists, or update old ones. Some of the playlists that I’m constantly changing are for my workouts, driving, and chilling with friends.

Go to the gym.

Create some new spreads in your bullet journal.
