Fanart Friday! My two favorite ladies from childhood: Alanna of Trebond and Daine Sarrasri.  

Tamora Pierce was a huge influence on my own story and artwork as a child, and I had to pay my dues for the Ladies of Literature zine.

Flying to Seoul today (then Singapore and Hong Kong), so I won’t be on much. I’ll be back January 5th!

The armor was really fun to design. she’s wearing chainmail under that belt part, where the gold seperates. the black-brown parts are leather. ref used: jackalcringe.deviantart.com/ar… gonna do this with all the pierce heroines as i finish reading. currently reading beka. not going in order of series. ***also, those arent RIDICULOUSLY long lashes, its supposed to be hair curling on the onther side of her head. that didnt work out to well.
