Thinking about Shooting Stars Jack and how hes kinda a picky eater lol dude was hopping trains and getting meals where he could but that usually ment the usual Premium USA diet of off the tracks/highway food. My guy cries thinking about how fries no longer are with us post icesicle, was a burger guy when he could scrounge the money ---> Peter Buritto Parker but little and pasty and kind of a scary looking fae guy

Something about the symbolism of Hiccup throwing away his helmet to show Hookfang that he's not like the others and Stoick freaking at it and escalating everything because that viking helmet represented them as a whole tribe and Hiccup threw it away for a dragon VS. Stoick hurriedly removing and throwing away his helmet without a care to hear his son's heartbeat and his voice growing thick with relief, joy and tears when he realizes that this dragon brought him back alive..

It stuck with me.

Definitely one of my favourite scenes from The Golden Light by @alkalinefrog, I still get all giggly everytime I think about it!

I loved the fic, especially Jamie's humor and Jack and Hiccup's interactions (I may have shed a tear or two at the end lol)

Okay I just read it and I canttt with thisssss aaaaaaaa it's so beautiful and sweet! This scene is so fricking funny but there's also a sense of awe as Hiccup makes his entrance after saving their sorry heinies lmao (for now, that is)
