Hey guys, its Pylime, long time no update I guess but rest assured this fanadventure is still a go! (that is if anyone is following this!)

So just some sketches of the mask to get a sense of how his mask works and how his hair looks and stuff. Additionally, I am so pleased with his design I can't help but draw him.

25+ Tips on Making a Fanventure

Hello! I created this post to help my fellow fanventure writers. I do not claim to be an expert fanventure writer, but I hope you find worth reading. [Note: This is most probably unfinished! I will be going back to this post to make changes and add things, so stay tuned!]

Have fun. Writing a fanventure is for you to be able to express yourself as well as to reach out to your readers. If you are not having fun making your fanventure, you should not be making one at all.

Stay motivated. Your readers may find it a bit inconvenient if you update your fanventure every once in a blue moon.

Have an even number of players. This makes it easy to incorporate the traditional “==>” symbol in your story. For example, if your session has six players, it would have “===>”, while a five-player session would have “==->”. Which seems easier?

Try to stick to the traditional player number. The kids have four, the trolls have twelve, the cherubs have two.

Make the number of squares in the Sburb symbol correspond to the number of players, but also make it aesthetically pleasing. Going back to my six-player example, don’t stack the squares underneath the bottom. Try putting them at the sides, in between the top and bottom squares (sort of the like the trolls’ Sburb symbol, but smaller).

Try coming up with your own suffix for Sburb. After all, there’s the entire Greek alphabet. If you really want to be creative, find a letter that rhymes with “beta” or “alpha”.

Info: An AU for a fanstory my friend and I are making. This AU purely has the roots of the characters rather than the fanstory concept. All the characters are OCs so this is pretty much orriginal work!

Scene set: A bunker is designed to house the most important governement officials. They must escape from the threat of nuclear warfare and retreat deep into the earth into a new facility, painstakingly designed for it’s task. But is such a facility enough to keep these people out of the arms of harm, or some other evil intent?

Tricksters, oh what fun UuU So, he’re trickster Mask again done in blue marker on paper. I edited this on MS paint to erase some other drawings that were there sort of poking into the picture.

RACIAL DIVERSITY:

I'll admit I've been sort of unsure about this. I myself am a Caucasian (if that's the right term) Canadian and quite frankly, roaming into the territory of racial diversity frightens me because I don't want to offend anyone. But the way that I portray characters is not always going to be super POSITIVE. Everyone has faults and if you think I am being racist by giving characters faults like any human being, then I will discuss with Val and make sure everything thing goes black and white again. So yes, thus far we believe the fanadventure will be done in colour.

Thus far I am trying to decide what is best for the characters, as far as race. One is confirmed an Asian and I am trying to design another boy player and I want him to be of african roots perhaps. (although really they all live in north America and I don't know if that's Canada or not be quiet I'm thinking) And as for Alli...its tough because I want him to be a strawberry blonde but as far as skin colour, he may only end up pasty white or tan. He would be of some European origin but his name alone is begging for him to be addressed as some Egyptian or Idian roots. But even now I feel racist talking about this because I know very little about other races. I have a limited amount of friends so I don't know many diverse people. Not that it should even matter because we are all the same on the inside.

addressing further, Trolls...I don't know about races when it comes to trolls. I don't really think they have multiple races but I suppose its up to the readers how they would look humanized. Although I can't deny it would be interesting to see a range in the darkness of troll skin...but I really don't know if it works that way.

Further diversity. I intend for character's to be all shapes and sizes even though it is out of my comfort zone. Nanqua is confirmed to be very pretty and wider in size also a bit stocky.(if that's the right word). Eidose is FREAKISHLY skinny. But that's just his normal size. I know pleanty of guys with his kind of build. But like I said, I would like to have variation between characters. Again, I don't want to discriminate because while all the character's have flaws and just happen to have specific attributes doesn't mean anyone should be offended. Because all the character's have upsides too! And they are all imperfect and that's what makes them so wonderfull. I hope that you will thoroughly enjoy our characters. I am enjoying the process of creating them UuU
