In the Mustard Café segment of Paper Mario: Color Splash, Huey falls down into quicksand and needs to be rescued. After being retrieved, he has difficulty speaking because he is full of sand, and takes a second to shake the sand out by opening his lid.

The sound effect that plays during this has a humorous internal name, whereby it is called SE_PKY_Sand_Barf (SE standing for Sound Effect and PKY for Huey's Japanese name, Penki/Painky). This is yet another instance of an action that one would normally not interpret as vomiting being referred to as such internally, previously seen with the electricity-shooting Bowser statues in Super Mario Galaxy 2 being called "KoopaStatueVomit".
