Fic Summary: Ava is a smart and risk taking young servant in Asgard (from Midgard) and wants to do something big for her best friend’s birthday, but her surprise may get them into trouble, especially with a certain God…

Author’s Notes/Warnings: The first chapter was specifically written for someone so it includes less Loki because I need to introduce him properly for Chapter 2!

“HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!” came a piercing scream through my ears, the first thing I heard upon opening my eyes. “Ava” I said, “Can you please not scream at me like that? You know people here don’t understand what that me-“. Ava had jumped on my bed at this point, “Who gives a hoot what the Asgardians think?! It’s your birthday and we are celebrating Midgardian style!” It was practically impossible to calm her down, she was always jumping around and doing whatever she felt like, (of course there was a limit to this, as citizens of Asgard we must obey the laws) but Ava had a mind of her own and often used it to bend these said laws, especially when it came to birthdays, because she was my best friend, in-fact my sister and so I knew she would do whatever she could to ensure I had the perfect day.

Me and Ava were both actually from Midgard. We had got lost on a camping trip one day after venturing far from the group (As Ava had planned) and once we were away, Ava had chanted something odd at an inscription on a tree, and before I could protest we were flying with a rainbow before ending up in… Asgard. Nobody had understood how we had got there because although I watched her do it and had explained to the King that I could recall nothing of what happened, I knew secretly that she had used some sort of magic which she still won’t tell me so I’ve rested with the knowledge that Ava is talented in ways one cannot comprehend.

THIS IS A FROZEN CROSS-OVER RATING: T AUTHORS NOTES/WARNINGS: Okay, this takes place before the events of Thor, Avengers and Thor: The Dark World but Loki knows about his ice powers. I know it’s a little screwy and I’m sorry. It was a thought that I had and had to write down. I don’t think that there will be many chapters but you never know.

Elsa was very quiet since the first day, opting to say nothing and pretending it didn’t happen. She would often lock herself in the room where they had kissed for hours and when she came out she ignored Loki and paced around the front hall. That wasn’t how it went in Loki’s mind. You didn’t ignore something like that. He was also worrying him. He tried not to listen to her mindless rambles but would often catch, “I hope she’s okay.” Or “I’ve really done it now and I can’t take it back.”

It has recently come to my attention how exhausting writing stories for fandoms can be. We do not pay you, and you have jobs and loved ones that also crave your attention.

Many times you get messages saying please update, but no thank you. In all of those reviews, sometimes, we neglect to show our gratitude, thinking surely the writer knows how happy we are to read their works. But I have taken you guys for granted. I should outright tell you how much I appreciate your hard work.

So this post is a reader’s way of saying THANK YOU. Thank you for all the hours you take out of your down time to help put a smile on someone else’s face. Thank you for all the times you wrote while you were stressed because you knew that chapter would make someone else a little less burdened. Thank you for not throwing in the towel after losing inspiration. Thank you for your kindness. Thank you for your patience. Thank you for pushing through harsh reviews and not tossing in the towel.
