YES (I'm guessing you're referencing @pepperimps01 post since this ask came in only a couple minutes after I reblogged it, and yes I agree with it very much)

They’re really really similar after you get past their outer shell (pun intended) and while I think they’d probably argue a lot upon first meeting, eventually they’d become great friends (though it may take a few weeks to warm up to each other since both are kinda stubborn).

Space Heroes vs Jupiter Jim arguments (that eventually end in them marathoning both to "prove" to the other that theirs is better, but they just watch cheap sci-fi all night and never reach a conclusion anyways)

They're just gonna quote sci-fi movie and comic references at each other for days straight. They get more and more obscure until literally no one knows what they're referencing except each other

Ok this is 90% just my headcanon regarding 2012 Leo but I think those two idiots would be the type (*cough* me projecting *cough*) who just constantly joke about their trauma to each other while everyone else stares in concern

2012 Leo is more “stuck up” because of all the responsibility shoved on his shoulders, but I think after spending enough time with Rise Leo he’d open up more to him, and then hanging out with Rise Leo would become his chance to chill out and be a kid again. So as soon as they’re together, all brain cells go out the window and guys please stop trying to make a sci fi themed obstacle course in the middle of the lair to prove which one of you would be a better space captain guys stop it stop trying to convince your brothers to play the aliens you have to fight

Them strategizing for missions together would be INSANE. No one would stand a chance at all.

2012 Leo would help Rise Leo once he got to be leader and his advice would make the transition a lot easier for him and the mad dogz as a whole

Both would enjoy training together. I know Rise Leo doesn’t like training, but 2012 Leo can get pretty competitive when he wants to and considering they’re both Leo and both sword wielders.... Idk, I think he’d have fun.

Long story short they are more similar than people say AND they would be friends!!!!
