We're holding the first Oumota event of the year on March 14th, also known as White Day!

White Day is a holiday that originated in Japan in 1978. As Valentine's Day in Japan has traditionally been a holiday where women give chocolate as gifts to men they like, White Day was marketed by chocolate companies as a day for the men to reciprocate those gifts and affections. Given the gendered nature of these traditions, queer couples often choose to celebrate these holidays in their own way.

Oumota Day is a single day event dedicated to spreading love for the wonderful creations of the Oumota fan community. There will be 3 prompts to choose from (or combine!) and all you need to do in order to participate is create and share content inspired by one or more of the prompts! Post your work here on Tumblr and use the tag #oumotaday or #oumotaday2026 and it will be reblogged by us as soon as we see it.
