Yes to a lively cricfam! Horse Or Crisp, Ashes Edition?

The charge was of course led by a horse and England do indeed have a very horse-centric team right now - in fact Jonny and Crisp Woakes are the only two crisps I can think of (I’m always on the fence about Jos - marginally a horse though imo)

Australia are a much more balanced team, but as it served them well? Interestingly of all the bowlers they’ve used so far, all have been crisps. You know who isn’t a crisp? Mitchell Starc. Is this a conspiracy to keep horses out of the team?

This is truly the talking point heading into the week’s break.  Does England’s top order need a crisp to add balance (and, you know, maybe some runs, eh?)?  Is Pat Cummins becoming more horsey with age?  If not, do you bring in certified horse Mitchell Starc for the next match?  Where does the fact that Nathan Lyon is definitely the annoying bird from Aladdin fit into his crisp designation?

Middlesex, historically bumbling but enthusiastic at limited overs cricket, have now made the knock-out stages of both white ball tournaments this year, and to be quite honest, I’m doing Eoin Morgan’s batting face right now.
