Although ER was very shy and described himself to be shy as a child-teenager in his manifesto, when he was angry, he'd crash out in public to the point he tried to push girls off a balcony despite being shy. Why? Because when you're angry while being a shy person naturally, your adrenaline and sheer anger overshadows your behavior that tells you to be quiet or submissive. When you're angry, you care less about how you're perceived in public and just want your feelings out. I am a naturally shy person but when I'm anry at my family, I don't care about how I'm perceived and have no issue yelling or screaming at them in public because I want my feelings out.

I heard that Artyom is also jealous because Nikita has other friends.

I only know that detail about Nikita's birthday party because his mother said Artyom was jealous. I'm trying to imagine what he would have to do to show his jealousy to the point that Nikita's mother would notice.
