REFUGE restrooms is now live on the web at http://www.refugerestrooms.org. It is viewable on any browser.
REFUGE seeks to provide safe bathroom access for transgender, intersex, and other gender nonconformist individuals. A few months back the valuable safe2pee database stopped working. We present Refuge as a replacement. Starting with the existing database of listings from Safe2Pee, refuge makes the database easily searchable and mappable to allow folks to find the nearest safe restroom.
This is very much in its alpha stage and had a lot of growing to do. I started learning how to code not that long ago so I’m still learning how I can make the app better and better. The app is open source so please contribute to the project on github @

A few shirts in my wardrobe that had the amazing ability to create an optical illusion of a V shape when I tried them on and I bought them - keep in mind, I bind straight down and my extra chest tissue sits low, around my top of my belly. Some of these suggestions wouldn’t work for someone who’s…
Hi! :-) My boyfriend wants to get a prosthetic but we don't really have an extra 500 dollars kickin around... Do you have any suggestions of something similar that's in a more reasonable price range? Thank you!! xo
I’m not sure which product you’re referencing in saying “something similar.” So I’m going to make you a pretty large list of products. So let’s cover all the options: Packers, Pack and Plays, Hard Packers, and STP devices. This is going to be fun, I’m excited. As a note, there are tons of hard packers out there so I just included some of my favorites.Packers:$12 - Mr. Limpy$20 - Pack-it Packers$20 - Masho$24-28 - Sailor Soft Pack$40 - Private Silicone Packer$52 - Packman$55 - Archer$55 - Pierre$60 - Mr. Right$80 - ReelMagik Basic Packer$100-400 - Like Real Prosthetics$250-275 - Lola.Jake Products$297-350 - Emisil Products$500 - ReelMagik ProstheticsPack and Plays:$39 - Bendy Buddy$129 - Shilo$179 - Peecock (also an STP)$300-500 - Lola.Jake Products$1490 - Tyron2Hard Packers:$58 - Captain$85 - Omen V$110 - Pack And Play #2 (the name is misleading, this cannot be used for packing. Be safe, y’all!
I'd like to pump but I have no idea where to start?
You’ve come to the right place.Getting a pump is the obvious first place to start. You decision on whether you want to buy a make a pump is based on whether or not you’re on testosterone (if you’re pre-T it’s super easy to make a small pump), how confident you feel in your ability to make a pump, and what your budget is like. I’ll recommend where to buy a pump and places for more information on making your own:Beginner FTM Pump Kit I highly recommend this one. It’s the most popular pump kit sold for ftm guys. I know that Chase and I both have this one and I have no complaints about it whatsoever. The only thing to note is that the packaging is geared towards cis women, so it’s pink and talks about the pump being a “clitoris enhancer”.Cheap ‘n’ Easy Transman Pump (youtube)What Pumping Looks Like (youtube)The biggest downsides to a homemade pump are the fact that there’s no pressure gauge and no emergency release valve. The lack of pressure gauge means you aren’t going to be able to put as much pressure on your dick and you won’t actually know how much pressure is on it, so you can’t monitor yourself and make sure it’s a safe amount. The lack of an emergency release valve is simply dangerous, as this is a way for you to release all of the pressure instantly in case of an emergency (like severe bruising/burst blood vessels). I don’t know about the pressure gauge, but you can solve the issue of not having a release valve by drilling a hole in the side of the homemade pump near the very top. Place tape or your finger over this hole as you pump so that you can maintain the vacuum seal, but know that in an emergency you can release that and quickly get out of the pump. You want to use a cylinder that fits well. The width of the cylinder should be such that when you put your dick it in it should be able to comfortably wiggle around without touching the sides. The length of the cylinder should be at least twice your flaccid size. It’s recommended that you apply lube to yourself before pumping so that you don’t experience friction, but this part is up to you. If you prefer not to use any, that’s fine. Personally I don’t since the lube I use is expensive. When you starting pumping you will begin at a low pressure and build up very gradually as you are able to leave it on longer and longer. If you have a gauge on your pump you should go no higher than 5 pounds (if you have been pumping for a long time you can experiment with more pressure but be extremely cautious). Begin with 5 to 10 minute intervals, then 15 to 20 minutes, working up to 30 to 45 min intervals. Don’t go beyond this or you’ll risk severe bruising. You should build a routine of pumping at least 5 times a week, but no greater than 3 times in one day.You should not fill your cylinder completely. If you do, you need to get a bigger one. If you experience any pain whatsoever disengage the pump and give yourself a break. If you don’t listen to your body and stop you may experience severe bruising, burst blood vessels, or perhaps nerve damage. This, like all things transition related, is not something to play around with and not take seriously. You’re putting pressure on a very delicate part of yourself and need to be careful.- Skylar
Cross-posting my answer here as well since it’s good information to have.
No matter where I go in this nation to train on trans inclusion, whether it is the Midwest to the coast, the main concern always, ALWAYS brought up are restrooms (and locker rooms). I for now on will just show this video and then do education on how their attempts to make a joke of it, just isn’t funny it makes them look silly. Way to go Illinois State University!
