i'm getting downvoted for pointing out that sometimes drivers contribute to their own luck but like. all oscar had to do is be within even .200 seconds of his teammate's pace and he avoids pitting into that mess in the first place.

i'm also a lot less sympathetic when this is like his 5th race tangling with someone just this season alone. racing should not be this difficult for someone who's been lauded as having the "best w2w and racecraft on the grid" for years now lmao

i’m new to f1 and to being a lando fan, what happened in silverstone last year?

Oscar earned himself a penalty then didn't want consequences for his actions so if there was another safety car, Andrea Stella wanted them double stacked and for Lando to serve Oscar's penalty with him so Oscar would retain the lead and effectively not actually get penalized.

Then no safety car happened so Oscar started crying on the radio about how unfair consequences for his actions were and how McLaren needed to order Lando to give Oscar his position right then and there.

Basically, Nicole's entitled ass son in all his glory.
