it really is NOT FUNNY ANYMORE
Charles KNOWS which drivers from top teams to be concerned about, that's for sure.
andrea gave an interview about how different 2025 was to 2026, and mentioned the driver's championship his team tried at every opportunity to gift to Max and as team accomplishment instead of mentioning Lando by name for that either:
"well, i think the first comment is that you're right. we need to look also what was happening before the 2026 season. we come into this season as double constructor world champions, 24-25. a massive effort last year to become driver’s world champion."
Somebody needs to do the math on all the Lando poles his team principal has proceeded to say didn't matter because Ferrari would win anyway instead of congratulating him.
And then put the same data beside how many times he has done that to his driver who claims to be Italian.
Because there's a noticeable difference there.
I did the maths and to keep it simple: p*asstri was praised all four times he got pole last season by Stella, for Lando its a bit more complicated than that (sadly, but not surprising).
in Lando's 15 poles (from '24-now excluding sprint poles):
three times Stella said that basically his pole doesn't matter and mentions other teams being close or other teams puts them under pressure so not even sure if Lando would win that race or even has a chance to win it (Brazil '24, Belgium '25 & LV '25)
seven times Stella praised him for his pole (Spain '24, Singapore '24, Monaco '25, Austria '25, Mexico '25, Brazil '25 & LV '25)
five times Stella didn't even mention that Lando was the mclaren driver who qualified on pole (Netherlands '24, Monza '24, Austin '24, Abu Dhabi '24 & Australia '25)
note: LV '25 kinda was both Stella praising Lando for his pole, but also saying it doesn't matter and that "our opponents are very strong, especially at this track"
(@fuckandreastella let me know if you want me to post everything I found [and wrote down on my laptop] and I will post it all)
Oscar Piastri is a racist agenda on the TL.....
Maybe Lewis Hamilton fans aren't so bad.
God, if you're not going to give me a Norris win, give me an Oscar causing a double McLaren DNF with his tunnel vision so we can have some repercussion drama over this break.
little Lando Norris really is more traumatizing to #them than Israel is and it's so funny and makes me love him all the more tbh
idc what results occur tomorrow I'm celebrating the downfall of the Australians and the Lebanese regardless
Sorry, this has nothing to do with the Hungary Race, but I was just wondering, do you like/support any drivers apart from Lando? I am genuinely interested, because you don’t talk about anyone else that much so I was just curious
Not really anymore tbh.
I like to see Carlos do well as a remnant of his McLaren days.
Franco's alright, I like to see him do well despite all the team orders for Pierre.
That's pretty much it though off the top of my head lmao.
i'm happy with the pole, don't get me wrong.
i just really hoped it would've come at any other track because there's already so much papaya rules trauma here & i don't trust mclaren not to do some additional bullshit again tomorrow the way stella's been moving.
he was never sniffing even p4 man this is unprecedented levels of luck he should be like 40 points down on lando
genuinely horrific how close they are on points when the gap has been so massive in terms of performance
I bet if Oscar was on pole that Italian prick would be singing a different tune
I can’t with 81 coping that their little oscie struggled because he missed ONE practice, how much time has Lando missed overall and still managed to outperform him again and again, just accept the fact that your driver fucking SUCKS
Lando kicked Oscar's ass in Spain after giving up his FP1 to a rookie.
He also dramatically outperformed Oscar both weekends he gave up FP1 to a rookie last year.
Oscar just has skill problems and those skill problems have been on display all season long.
the fact that lando just broke a 10-race mercedes pole streak after all the reliability issues, the engine penalty, and the sheer bad luck he’s had this season... he really went and put that mclaren on pole and reminded everyone exactly why he has that number 1 on his car. i could actually cry.
Sometimes I wonder if Andrea Stella likes Lando even a little bit and if he's aware that he's McLaren's team principal not Ferrari's

all the praises for the "champion pole position" is making me wanna throw up
It's okay. I totally understand why a fangirl of Oscar Piastri and Alex Albon is upset by actually witnessing a championship-caliber driver.
