[ She stared up at Phoenix, she didn’t want to glare at him—that would be a little rude. So instead the young magician stared at him, eyes wide in confusion. He was so awkward! Then again…he was only 26. Zak was much older than he is now. ]

[ She wasn’t lying either. Trucy’s days started early. She was always a little more of a morning person. ]

That was what saddened her the most: she had to wait for the wind to bring her a crumpled piece of newspaper to know what was making him so sad. He probably didn’t even sleep because of that, the dark circle under his eyes were the proof. -

Nick… - She said, with the tone of voice of someone who was going to make a plea, but she stopped because, in the end, she didn’t really know what to say.

Was she mad at him? No, obviously no. Someone coming from the future already told her that something like this would happen. She didn’t know, though, if it was really his fault. No one told her the details.

One thing was sure, anyway. -
