District 9 (2009)

THIS this movie is exactly what I think about when I think about sci-fi movies. I feel like If alien and human contact were a thing they would be treated the same way they're treated in this movie. I did not expect this movie to be emotional at times but it was. Kept this review spoiler free because if you haven't seen it you definitely should as it is an incredible movie shot in a very unique way.

Movie Review!

Today's movie: Requiem for a Dream (2000)

This movie blew me away.. I loved the way it was filmed and edited. I loved all the cuts, they really worked into making the viewer feel overwhelmed. I liked how the mom's mental illness and hallucinations were presented. I liked how the drug use, highs and the uncomfortable euphorias were shown. I loved the way all the characters just spiraled into insanity, even if they were exaggerated it shows that at the end of the day drugs can have terrible outcomes onto people's lives. Requiem for a dream is in my top 5 movies for sure.

Today's movie: 10 things I hate about you (1999)

Rating: 10/10

Let me just start off by saying I loved everyone's performance in this movie. From Keith ledger to Joseph Gordon. Awesome cast! The soundtrack was amazing, the story was pretty interesting and over the top considering it's a teen flick I think they did a great job presenting what it's like and what it feels like to be a teenager. I loved how the story starts off being about Cameron and Bianca but as the story unfolds it becomes more about Patrick and Kat which by the way have great chemistry. I enjoyed watching Bianca develop as a character and ended up liking her alot more after the events in the movie. This movie made me very happy and made me cry I loved every second of it. And I of course LOVED the way letters to cleo was in it as they're one of my favorite bands ever!

Today's movie: Pulp Fiction (1994)

Rating: 10/10

I absolutely loved everything about this movie. It made me laugh it made me smile it made me feel uncomfortable and then made me laugh again. The dialogue In this movie is top notch and the references are very thought out. I really loved how the movie was not in chronological order yet the different parts of the movie were all connected. Believe it or not this was my first time watching this movie and I would totally watch it again!
