Are you a Gold Star lesbian? (Just in case you don't know what it means, a Gold Star lesbian is a lesbian that has never had sex with a guy and would never have any intentions of ever doing so)
Haha, oh I know what it means but thanks. I'm not, I had a weird phase when I was 19 after a bad break up where I lost my virginity. But I haven't slept with a man in over 6 years and don't intend to do so evvveeer again.

wlw books, sci fi, urban fantasy, superheroes, Chinese-Vietnamese bi girl protagonist, transmasculine main character
Summary: Welcome to Andover… where superpowers are common, but internships are complicated. Just ask high school nobody, Jessica Tran. Despite her heroic lineage, Jess is resigned to a life without superpowers and is merely looking to beef-up her college applications when she stumbles upon the perfect (paid!) internship—only it turns out to be for the town’s most heinous supervillain. On the upside, she gets to work with her longtime secret crush, Abby, who Jess thinks may have a secret of her own. Then there’s the budding attraction to her fellow intern, the mysterious “M,” who never seems to be in the same place as Abby. But what starts as a fun way to spite her superhero parents takes a sudden and dangerous turn when she uncovers a plot larger than heroes and villains altogether.
Thoughts: If you’re looking for a cute, diverse superhero story with an adorable wlw romance, this book is for you. The sequel comes out in October 2017 and will focus on Bells, Jess’ transmasculine best friend whose hair is a different color every day.
Warnings: Action violence, kidnapping

Vintage women being badass. You’re welcome.
Don’t fool yourself into thinking ladies were demure and silent in the past.
I would like more female characters being this open
I’m sorry you were not truly loved and that it made you cruel.

I think we as a generation need to stop being impressed by basic shit in relationships.
Customers who get angry when I read them their total cost are so compelling to me. Take charge of your narrative, Janice. Be the hero of your own story. You are the one who is purchasing $113.67 worth of adult zen coloring books, Janice. It’s not me you hate, Janice. It’s not me.

I forgive people but that doesn’t mean I accept their behavior or trust them. I forgive them for me, so I can let go and move on with my life.
