My friendâs birthday cake <3
He looks a lot different than I remember.
OH BOY!!
(via Stand by Me- Bridge | Flickr - Photo Sharing!)
I traveled to Brownsville, OR, where my favorite film (Stand by Me) was shot in 1985! Â I replicated many of the scenes with my customized dolls. Â Iâm so in love!!
THIS. IS. AMAZING.
@wilwheaton I would like you to meet Woolsley Crusher! Or Wool Wheaton, if youâd like. My talented friend Kate made this!

GET WIL WHEATONÂ TO READ VALHALLA AND I WILL BE YOUR SLAVE FOR ALL ETERNITY.
Valhalla by Ari Bach is enormously popular among all who have read it. The only problem? Nobody famous has read it so few people have ever heard of it.
Hereâs the deal: Get Wil Wheaton, George Takei, Cory Doctorow, LeVar Burton, Matthew Inman, Markiplier, George Lucas, Neil deGrasse Tyson, Ellen DeGeneres, or Barack Obama to read the book and state that theyâve read it publicly, mentioning your blog name as the one who recommended it. They donât even have to like it. They can hate it so long as they mention it and you with it. Other celebrities may be eligible, just write me to ask about a specific person and Iâll confirm whether they apply to the deal.
What is the deal? I have no idea. Tumblrâs contest rules forbid anyone under 18 and out of my country and a hundred other things so this isnât a contest. So what is it? What do you get out of it? I have no clue. But think of it this way:
If one of those names or anyone like them reads this book, it will EXPLODE. Itâs good enough that once people hear of it, it will be the next Hunger Games, the next Divergent, the next Harry Potter or more. This book will dominate the planet in a way no literature ever has before it. And it will be your doing. So when Iâm rich as hell and world famous, Iâll owe it all to you. I donât know what you want, I donât even know who Iâm addressing yet, but youâll have me in your debt and youâll have made me more powerful than the C.E.O.s of ten thousand companies. And I will do damn near anything for you from now to eternity.
Seriously imagine if George Lucas owed the success of Star Wars to you. This is your chance. If youâve read it, you know this book will be the next big thing. If you havenât, read it and see why I can make this kind of deal with confidence.
This trilogy will dominate the globe. The only question is- Will you be the one who made it happen? Or the one who regrets never having tried?
Valhalla by Ari Bach + Anyone Famous
Combine them and I will do all in my power to reward you forever. Shooting stars grant you a single wish. Genies give you three. Make Valhalla hit and Iâll give you three billion. You ainât never had a friend like meâŚ

Leonard Nimoy (March 26, 1931 â February 27, 2015)
âWe will all miss his humor, his talent, and his capacity to love.â - William Shatner
Today is a tragic day for Star Trek fans.
So as we say goodbye to Leonard Nimoy, letâs remember those lessons he taught us as Spock: http://bit.ly/LessonsLearnedFromSpock_GS
