It's so funny to me that folks get surprised that the Yandere Sim dev was into sexualising highschoolers. And it's even funnier that people got surprised at OTHER PLAYERS for sexualising highschoolers.
Like- Did you actually play the game? You are aware this is transparently a fetish game? That the entire point of this game is murdering and sexualising highschoolers? 'It's problematic'- Yeah, DUH it's problematic. Literally the entire premise is killing people to get a boy's attention. 'But it's the sexual kind of problematic-' why is that worse than the mass murder kind? 'I don't like that part-' Then don't play the game. It's really that easy. 'No, I don't want to not play the game. I just want the parts I don't like to be removed' Buddy. This game was not made for you. The dev made it because he wanted to. That's why Indie games happen. This was never designed to be fucking mainstream.
I genuinely think that the primary issue with things like Yandere Sim and Harbin hotel is that they weren't really supposed to be mainstream. Like- No. This is something that was supposed to be some pervert's fun passion project for a few years, have a dedicated fanbase of less than 5,000 people, and then be forgotten. But instead they got popular, and now we have to deal with people whining, because they're mad there's Fetish in their Fetish game.
