Beauty Tip No. 7
I recently went over how to put on and take off falsies, so now it’s time to go over how to clean them !
Cleaning your false lashes are a must, just like cleaning your makeup brushes are a must. If you leave the glue on the lashes after wear, it will build up bacteria, oil, and dirt, which is a no no, especially since the lashes almost touch your eyes! This can cause a possible infection and damage the lashes, making them unwearable.
So how do you clean your lashes? It’s very simple (◕‿◕✿) !
What You Need: Two small containers (cup, dish, etc), eye makeup remover, clean tweezers, paper towel, and patience
Before taking off your lashes, make sure to have the two small containers filled with a bit of eye makeup remover. After gently taking off your falsies (refer to Beauty Tip No. 5), place them into one of the containers and let them soak for five minutes.
After five minutes have passed, take out one of the lashes and hold it with your fingers of one hand. With the other hand, take your tweezers and peel off the glue. Be careful not to rip out any of the lashes! Take your time to avoid doing this (/゚Д゚)/ !
When the glue has been completely peeled, place the lashes into the second container filled with eye makeup remover. You don’t want to place them back into the dirty one! The eyelashes will just be swimming around in the dirt and bacteria if you put them back into the used container ( ゚д゚)
Repeat process with second false lashes. Clean your tweezers.
Let the eyelashes soak in the second container of eye makeup remover for about three minutes. After time has passed, take the lashes out with the tweezers and place them on a paper towel to dry. When completely dried, store them back in their original containers.
And that’s it ヽ(゜∇゜)ノ !
***Please remember to clean your makeup tools, materials, and accessories to avoid bacteria, dirt, and oil build up, which can lead to possible break outs and infection!
PERFECT! enough with the 'get rid of them after 2/3/5 uses' crap do THIS instead :D
