I'm sorry for my stupidity, I just started watching Kamisama Kiss yesterday and I died when I finished it was so good! I have a question that maybe you could answer, is the manga version available online, and if so, does it continue on longer than it did in the anime? The ending seemed really unsatisfactory to me to count as a conclusion to a show so awesome
friend, why in the world would you ever watch the anime??
The manga is 100% better for many reasons - one being that it's longer (it's still going on, actually), Nanami has far more agency, and Tomoe's feelings are explored much longer (it actually takes him a while to admit that he's in love with her for reasons that are explored later). Uh, there is some trigger-y things that come up later in the manga, but I think they're handled tastefully.

I suggest starting from the beginning, because the anime cut things, or outright changed things, and switched the order of what happened when.
LOL :D THANKS x3 i am so happy ,by the way will be there a season 2 of kamisama hajimemashita? x3 ā„
We don't know yet - but there will be an 2 episode OVA :D
Does Tomoe really love Nanami? I think yes because in the episode 13 he kissed her :3 but not because of the contract, but anyways i wanted to ask you, bethween i am a really big fan of Kamisama Hajimemashita :33 ā„
Oh my dear, have you only watched the anime? Read the manga now and correct the error of your ways because Nanami is Tomoe's world.

Ah, so while the last chapter of KH was plenty controversial, it did pretty much confirm that the woman who was in Tomoeās hut in chapter 23 was most likely Nanami, and if itās not Nanami, but actually Yukiji - well, thatās quite a twist.
At the end of the chapter, Tomoe brings Nanami to a hut that closely resembles the hut that Nanami and Mizuki go to retrieve the Dragon Kingās eye.
In chapter 23, Nanami sees Tomoe with a woman that he seems to care deeply about.
Tomoe talks about giving the eye to Nanami (who I am going to assume is Nanami in this scene because itās the only thing that makes sense. Her hair looks closer to Nanamiās actual length rather than Yukijiās if you notice, as well). At the end of chapter 92, Nanami was poisoned by Kira, so it would make sense for Tomoe to be after the eye because Nanami might be extremely sick or even dying. She does seem to be doing slightly better from the end of chapter 92 because she seems to have more mobility.
Iām thinking that there is some length of time between the events of chapter 92 and this scene because Tomoe seems to have acknowledged that Nanami (who he thinks is Yukiji) is a person that he wants to spend the rest of his life with, when this isnāt necessarily the conclusion that he has come to at the end of chapter 92. He feels like he canāt hurt her, and he feels guilty over what he almost did - but Iām not sure if heās aware of his feelings to this point - yet. There might be two or three chapters of development before we get to this point (and we definitely need it after last chapter). That also gives it some time for Nanamiās stay in the past to begin to put more strain on her body.
An interesting thing that I never really noticed until now is that āYukijiās eyesā are not open in the entire scene. And the one time that her eyes are open, Nanami doesnāt get a good look at her face. She only sees enough for her to discern that Yukiji is āa beautiful woman.ā I believe this was done for a specific reason, considering that Nanami is actually the woman in this scene.
But I do think that this is a nice touch on Julietta Suzukiās part - to have the woman that Nanami envies so deeply and actually compares herself to actually be herself.
I am excited for chapter 93, actually.
Nanami returns to her body, but it isnāt quite as she left it⦠(Nanami/Tomoe) (Rated M) (because there is sex) (this took me forever because i spent half the time flushing but have fun, anyone who might possibly enjoy reading this) (there is sex) (what have i done)

Emotion clogged his throat as she laid the child in hands, her warm hand touching his, guiding them as she spoke lowly on how to hold the child. But Tomoe didnāt hear any of it, his violet eyes not able to leave the child. His child. His and Nanamiās child. It felt like a dream, a terrible horrible dream that would be ripped away from him when he woke up, and would be trapped in that mirror, strength leaving his body and all of it only lonely delusion in his last moments. But it didnāt happen, as minuets passed, the child squirmed slightly, but held fast asleep. Tired from her long journey into this world, He could hear Nanamiās voice cha

Just a thought about why Tomoe might have made a contract with the fallen god.
Iāve been pretty confused by why Tomoe would give up his demon-hood and become human when Nanami, who is disguising as Yukiji at this point, would accept Tomoe for who he is since she believes that demons and humans can love one another. I donāt think Tomoe would have thought of becoming a human on his own unless there was some kind of triggering event that caused him to make this decision. Thatās a huge decision to make in terms of giving up your insurmountable powers. I mean with the Dragonās eye in Nanamiās body, she supposedly has great longevity that is comparable to Tomoeās life, so why would he want to sacrifice his immortality when he would have āYukijiā forever now that the dragon eye was in her?
So this may be a far-fetched theory regarding his decision for becoming human.
We know that for some reason, Tomoe cannot distinguish between Nanami and Yukiji and he thinks that they are one person. We know that Yukiji hates demons and would kill them or run from them if one ever came close to her. I feel like Yukijiās role in the story is definitely not over yet. My guess is that at some point in the future (of the past), once Yukiji has settled into her new family and might be outside somewhere, sheāll encounter Tomoe again, this time face to face. Tomoe will think that she is his sick, beloved āYukijiā and try to get close to her but Yukijiās hatred for youkai will manifest and sheāll try to repel him or even kill him, and my guess is that sheāll say something along the lines of āAll Youkai Go and Die!ā in front of his face. Iām sure at this point, Tomoeās propensity to kill or overpower others has died down significantly since he is so in love with āYukijiā and has softened so much because of āYukijiāsā loving nature. Perhaps this event became a really huge psychological shock to Tomoe and he doesnāt know how to deal with this ārevelationā about Yukiji. He doesnāt want to hurt Yukiji, nor does he want to give up his feelings for her. I think he probably was racking through his brain, wandering aimlessly while thinking of every possible solution so that he could make Yukiji his forever, and thus he finds his answer somehow through the fallen god.
Anyways, this theory is probably completely wrong but might be a possible explanation to the fallen god contract.
