Prisoners

Prisoners is a 2013 American thriller film directed by Denis Villeneuve starring Hugh Jackman and Jake Gyllenhaal. Keller Dover faces every parent's worst nightmare when his daughter is kidnapped. As the police pursue multiple leads and the pressure mounts, knowing his child's life is at stake the frantic Dover decides he has no choice but to take matters into his own hands. But just how far will this desperate father go to protect his family?

‘Prisoners’ Sequel to be Released in 2017

A sequel to the critically acclaimed 2013 drama Prisoners will start production this month, with a release scheduled for late 2017.  Prisoners director Denis Villeneuve has signed on for the project, as well as screenwriter Chris Terrio (Argo).  

It is unknown as of yet whether stars Hugh Jackman and Jake Gyllenhaal will reprise their roles as Keller Dover and Detective Loki.

“I had watched hundreds of hours of interrogation footage of different police officers… In one of them that I watched for five hours, I remember that the movement in the room started from them across from each other at a table as we see in all of those shows and movies and stuff.
