Pikey/Summer of Like primer
So this is an updated pikey/summer of like primer. it’s pretty massive and i hope comprehensive, so yeah. Most of it is lifted straight from the wonderful primers of blushandrecover and iwritesins, with photos/away messages/tweets/blogs from nervousbreakdancer, crashqueen, and iamthemasterofthewicket. it’s pretty sad that i know this much/had the time to do this but w/e if i missed anything out let me know. I used real grammar and everything! It didn’t take as long as it looks to write (even though it’s over 4k words) but my sol folder has been building up for like 2 years. i hope pete finds this blog and calls mikey. then they talk for hours about the complexities of the universe and how theyre both so afraid to die, and although their relationship ended, they still love each other romantically so when theres a zombie apocalypse theyll find each other through the chaos and watch the world burn in each others arms. it will be the summer of like oh my god mikey is that a bite mark? and pete still dies alone.

I honestly feel like Pete settled for Ashlee after Mikey married Alicia. He wanted to act like he didn't still have feelings and was okay with just being friends so he got with Ashlee (see also: I'm straight). She got pregnant and he thought I can do this, I can be a dad and rock star. Then the band went on hiatus, Ashlee filed for divorce and he's alone now. At least with Fall Out Boy around Patrick, Andy, and Joe could keep an eye on him. Maybe he'll just go crazy like Joaquin Phoenix.
