bastilledan: Us, chatting to you lot live here as “Doom Days” was coming out all over the world.

The big interview: Will Bastille
The British band are set to bring the party to Abu Dhabi’s Club Social festival
williamfarquarson: New strings! The last set had been on there for about 40 years according to the women who sold me the cello. They smelt of the 1970s.
Congrats Will and Awuoi 💖💖

#oops
ok but can we talk about these two
Interviewer: What does the title of the album mean to you, personally?
William Farquarson: It’s actually the lyrics in “Warmth.” In the song, it’s referencing, like I said, all the political movements of the moment. But the ambiguity of the expression — “wild” isn’t necessarily pejorative, so “wild world” isn’t by nature a negative thing. I think there’s some hope in that. Even if the forces of evil across the world were defeated, there’s still the excitement of the world just being chaotic and messy. People in the world and societies are very messy. It’s just a comment on the human condition, I guess? It speaks to the fact that we are all struggling along in this world and just trying to find our own way.
