We were wondering in a group dedicated to the fandom, is the Great War that Aziraphale refers to when he throws his halo and says he did it on that occasion, is it the War that happened in heaven when the angels/demons were chased away, or are we talking about a World War?

As far as Aziraphale is concerned, there was only one Great War, and it's the one that Dagon refers to in Season 1, while exhorting the demonic troops. No humans fought in it.

But, my 12 y.o. son, a war refugee and a domestic abuse survivor, just saw the ending of the Season 2, and is crying hard, saying that it’s all wrong, and it shouldn’t be like that, because Crowley and Aziraphale love each other. I beg you, please, would you find a couple of kind words just to help me soothe him?

Tell him that it will all be all right in the end, and that we are not yet at the end.

Where did Gabriel get the outfit (the sparkling blue tux and fabulous fur coat) he wore in S2E5? Did he or Aziraphale miracle it or did Aziraphale just have it lying around the bookshop?

Aziraphale dressed him appropriately, as he did everyone who came in to the Whickber Street Shopkeepers and Street Traders Association meeting that evening.

the historical flashbacks are some of my favorite scenes in season 1 and season 2 of good omens, so i was wondering if there were any time periods you’d really like to portray aziraphale and crowley in that you haven’t already???

Quite a few. Ones that we had planned as possible for Season 2 (that either didn't get written or didn't get filmed) included a Wild West one, a 15th century Papal one, an Arabian Nights one, and a 1960s American one with Crowley and Aziraphale female presenting. And we have the whole of human history as a canvas. But for now the ones you've got are all.
