After taking the test 10+ times they would cope after getting the "you're in love with your best friend" result over and over again cause that's actually true and they took the test because they wanted comfort that they didn't actually like like their best friends that way

SO HERE'S DYNAMICS WITH HIM AND DAMN CREW FOR THE ONES WHO ARE STILL WITH ME
(I'm not so great at writing so please bare with me)
I imagine him to be a bit flirty (and a bit of a menace) so if you add that in the polycule:
Gavin + Xavier = the flirty bros (maybe add freelancer into the mix and boom you get: chaos)
Lasko + Xavier = air conditioner. I've been thinking about this for awhile now and I've chosen to bring this out into the world. (he'd be a great helper for Lasko get through summer)
Jokes aside, Xavier would be a great pep-talker to Lasko!!
Huxley + Xavier = this is quite obvious but captain and player!! You can't tell me everyone didn't dare them to kiss once in one of their team hangouts
Damien + Xavier = I know Eric did say Xavier runs hot because technically he's still a fire elemental but I like the idea he has cold hands so Xavier could help damien chill out, maybe tell him it's okay to not be perfect once in a while (them cuddling: Damien calming down to Xavier's cool touch, and Xavier huddling close to Damien cause he's warm)
Freelancer + Xavier = chaotic duo definitely, but also great cheerleaders (best duo to come to if you need hyping up)

- they would use slang, and they'd shorten their words sometimes too
- sometimes they'd also use emojis
- it drives Damien insane (sometimes)

Damien:
- he would use perfect grammar.
- yes that includes punctuation, capitalization, and no, he does not shorten words or use slang. (ex: "with" into "w", "LMAO", "LOL", "ngl")
- also, if you need tone indicators, he will use them for you!!
- it's kinda scary when he gets mad
- he won't hesitate to type a whole paragraph either
Gavin:
- lower case letters ✨
- "i look pretty, so the words i write must be pretty. - Gavin"
- uses grammar correctly
- I'd like to think he uses slang in a wrong way. It's up to you to think he does it on purpose to piss Damien off (like that ✨micro-wave✨ incident) or he just genuinely does not know how to use them cause I like to imagine he's not used to human stuff
- he uses the "~" at the end of certain sentences a lot
Huxley:
- he doesn't like texting, the big guy said it himself. but at least he tries his best
- he'd send voice messages instead though!! Or maybe when the question is just yes/no, he'd just reply with emojis, that works too I suppose.
- he'd definitely use videos too, cause like, I dunno, sometimes explaining things is hard yknow? so you just show'em to make it easier
- when he does text though. well- he's trying, right? definitely a lot of typos, quite hard to understand :''

- how does this man manage to stutter in text too
- he just types so fast man, especially if he's using a computer. speed.
- if he's using his phone, autocorrect has his back, most of the time anyway. he'd still have to correct some words but it's okay, he doesn't mind (fUCK AUTOCORRECT SOMETIMES IT CORRECTS SHIT YOU DONT WANT TO CORRECT)
- speaking of autocorrect Gavin definitely teases lasko for the words corrected if it gives a different context. but knowing Gavin, he can turn literally anything into an innuendo. like seriously he makes it out of thin air, it's comes naturally to him (que lasko throwing his phone across the room)

- if he's on computer, autocorrect doesn't have his back, but he won't have as much typos as Huxley though, so at least it's still legible.
- just one or two repeated letters, hitting the wrong keys, or forgetting to use the space bar, that's all.
Xavier:
- lowercase letters. chill man.
- only uses punctuation when needed, very laid back indeed
- does use slang, not a lot though
- emoticons, i cant explain why, just - emoticons. it just gives a friendly vibe

I have an immense need for a Huxley fic where the reader is just tiny compared to him and it’s pure fluff. Like I just want someone smol that Huxley is all protective over and so so gentle with.
Cuddles where they just bury their face in his chest and with his arm over them and the blanket pulled up you wouldn’t even know that they’re there.
When they hold hands Huxley’s almost covers their entire hand.
More cuddles on the couch and they fall asleep laying right on top of him. Listening to his heart beat and breath. Arms holding them close.
Some cheesy iconic kdrama moments like shielding them from getting splashed by water or pulling them out of the way of getting hit by a car or bike bc he can honestly just maneuver them so easily.
Lifting them to see something that they are too short to see on their own.
Forgetting to lean down to kiss them and they’re just like “Um I can’t reach.”
Carrying them when they get injured.
Piggyback rides when they’re tired or just because.
Reaching things up high for them. And standing right up against them when he does.
Head pats
Sitting on his lap just because and resting their head on his shoulder.
Or facing away from him instead and leaning back against his broad chest.
Ugh I need me a Huxley right now.
And him being so gentle with them.
Brushing their hair out of their face and behind their ear if it’s long enough.
Simply caressing their cheek but like his hand is so big.
The way that he always asks if they’re okay when cuddling or doing any physical activity together.
I imagine they’d be the couple to actually play wrestle and Huxley loves letting them win but if he even thinks he’s accidentally hurt them he stops and checks them all over for bruises and hesitates to play again for a few days.
he just has a box full of weird things everyone finds uninteresting and boring but he likes to go through the box occasionally and just smile to himself cause it just makes him happy or it reminds him of people he knows (like the DAMN crew and other demons/daemons perhaps?)

Gavin:
He’s gotten into the habit of baking. Especially if Freelancer has class and he has no plans for the day. They come home at least once a week to cookies all piled up on a plate. Caelum helps :)
I mentioned it before but I can see him being one of those Squishmallow collectors. They’re everywhere. He uses them as pillows when he likes to lay on the floor in poses that he tries to fluster Freelancer with.
He poses with mannequins whenever they go out shopping just because he likes to be a nuisance. The group chat gets all the selfies he takes and Damien’s half-tempted to mute the chat notifications, lol.
Lasko:
Doesn’t drive because it makes him too anxious. He’s tried to learn so many times but he just can’t. At this point he’s kinda given up on it and takes the bus or walks or bikes.
Wears shirts that are just a little too big because clothes that actually “fit” feel too tight and restricting. They have to be flowy-feeling! He can’t wear them as comfy as he wants at work though, because dress code :(
Keeps a fan on in his office all year long. It doesn’t matter how cold it is outside, he needs the cool air. Especially in summer (we know how well he tolerates heat, after his HBS video last month lol). He thinks the sound is soothing too. Dead-quiet stresses him out.
Damien (mostly going off my self-projecting HCs from last night):
Despite being Japanese and Mexican, he can only speak English. Neither parents taught them the languages their sides of the family speaks and sometimes he wishes he learned.
His favorite food is pozole, especially in winter when it’s cold outside. He likes spice and he likes heat. He’d eat it every day if he could. But only if it’s his family’s recipe, because theirs is the best.
Damien thinks glass blowing is cool. He watches YouTube videos about it all the time. If he could learn anything as a hobby, it would be that.
Huxley (our beloved):
I’ve mentioned this before but I think his moms would own a crystal shop. All his clothes smell like incense because of it and they got him into the habit of burning it a lot.
He collects little crystal carvings! His favorite is a fox made of red jasper. He carries it around with him in his gym bag for luck when he has a game :)
Obviously he has a ton of houseplants, and all of them thrive under his care. This means he’s always propagating them and keeps trying to get the others to take the little baby plants home. He gives them to his teammates, too.
Me, overcome with joy that Huxley and Damien are together, yet sad because it means there probably won’t be a romantic route for either of them with the fl now.
Also sad at the inevitable truth that the damn polycule will most likely never become canon
