swordgrandpa:
He pressed his hands to his face, gritting his teeth as another wave of pain wracked him–this time, bones forced their way through the fine fabric of his kimono, ruining layers of fine ramie cloth and silk; between the fire in his injured lung, the stinging pain of his growing spines, and the thought of repairing all his clothes, Mikazuki wasn’t quite sure which hurt more. Once more, he raised his head.

Yamanbagiri could only barely believe his eyes. Before him is Mikazuki, it should have been Mikazuki. But slowly, slowly did the other man turn into something similar to a Revisionist.
Bony spikes ripping through the blue cloth, glistening in the rain. Grey skin, tainted with blood. Eyes shining red. Oh, how he wishes for this to be a dream, a bad dream. Is this really Mikazuki? Or is it just an enemy, posing as Mikazuki, trying to get his guard down? When he starts thinking like that, fighting seems to be the only option for him, but his body refuses to move, even when his grip around his blade tightens.
At the plea, he can’t help but to flinch, taking an uncertain step back, away from Mikazuki. If this is the enemy, then he needs to dispose of them quick. But if not- and he turns out to be the real Mikazuki who -- for some reason -- transforms into something similar to a Revisionist, then he needs immediate medical attention.
Toppling to the side, and after what seems to be an attempt to protect himself, Mikazuki stops moving. Cautiously, Yamanbagiri moves to approach him. However, Mikazuki has proven himself to have no hostility whatsoever. This is the real Mikazuki Munechika, he tells himself. Though the shaking won’t stop, still gripped with fear. A part of him still doubts, but he quickly shakes the thought away. If Mikazuki had wanted to attack, he had many opportunities, but he didn’t.
With some difficulties, Yamanbagiri is finally able to carry the tachi on his back while avoiding getting stabbed by the spikes protruding from his arms and other parts of his body.
For now, he needs to bring Mikazuki to the repair room -- and somehow explain to the Saniwa about the situation to convince them that this is indeed the real Mikazuki Munechika, not an enemy. Determined, he finally takes a step, and quickly proceeds to his destination. Thankfully nobody else is around, else he’d have a hard time explaining.
‘ I SHALL BE REBORN SEVEN TIMES ’
And again, I gave in and made another blog, this time for a Saniwa OC. This is an Independent, Private, and Selective Saniwa OC of Touken Ranbu named Kurosawa Kouki. A seasoned Saniwa with an unfortunate history, but he’s ready to take on the challenge once again, this time with a stronger purpose.

i was....going to do my drafts but my connection keeps going on and off
@swordsank || sc.
He hasn’t had the proper chance to speak with his brother, and yet here they are, assigned to the same task together. There’s no doubt that he feels awkward, but maybe -- he should try breaking the silence? What should he say, though? Since they’re on kitchen duty...?
“What’s-... Um, your favorite food?”
kyokuchuu:
“I… will be the first to admit that I’m going to mess up sometimes.”
It doesn’t surprise him that they aren’t close, though Izuminokami can’t help but think that maybe then, he ought to be pushing Horikawa to make that connection. A lot of swords cherish their ‘familial’ bonds, and while Izumi himself isn’t that close with Kasen… he can’t say he doesn’t like the idea of it. Of family. Of that kind of… relationship.
“But he believes in me, for whatever reason, and I’m going to live up to the expectations he has for me no matter what I have to do to do that. And I’m gonna do whatever I need to to make sure he comes back here, every time, in one piece. I owe him… at least that much.”
His brows knit slightly, but soon relaxes. He cannot expect everyone to be perfect. He himself is not perfect. He ought to let minor mistakes slide, as long as it won’t result in a life-threatening situation.
“That’s enough for me.” His tense shoulders relax also, releasing a sigh along with it. When he has the time, he figures he should talk to his brother more. Family is important, is it not? “Also-er. One more thing. I don’t remember my brother wearing ear piercings when he first came here. They’re from you, right?”
nopainnocrane:
“Ahahaha~ I just wanted to see how safe a space your cloak is~ After all, you coop up yourself inside it all the time… are you hiding some precious treasure, hm~?”
“Wha-- Tsurumaru! Get out of my cloak!!”
timidtigertantou:
“I’d like a couple more!” His response immediate after he swallowed the last of his mouthful. Small fingers reach for another as he kicks his feet more in his contentment. “Thank you for making them, Manba-nii-san!”
“Sure.” Yamanbagiri has just finished his own too, and he can still fit a couple more in his stomach, so he also reaches for another one. “Mm, you’re welcome. You can ask me to make you more whenever you want.”
masters-never-die:
“Well, if my brothers are going to be there, then I should be there to watch over them… and you’d be going too, right, Yamanbagiri-dono?”
“Yes. I need to make sure nobody tries to light anything but the dry leaves on fire.” Even though the smell would probably stick to his cloak, but orders are orders.
kyokuchuu:
Ah — of course. It’s probably an inevitable conversation, not that that’s a bad thing, though he does feel a tad guilty to admit… there have been times he didn’t even remember they were brothers. It’s true, Horikawa was only manifested a short while ago, and that might explain why he and Yamanbagiri haven’t gotten the chance to see each other much, but Horikawa has all this time for him, Izuminokami, doesn’t he?
“I have to be a little honest here. A lot of people would probably think that I’m taking care of him, but I don’t think it could be more wrong. He looks out for me, more than anything…” He smooths a lock of hair from his eyes, trying to construct his words carefully. “I think he’s okay. He’s getting used to his new body pretty well I’d say, better than I did, at least. But there are times where he kind of forgets to take care of himself so that he can look out for me, you know? And… I guess that’s when I try my hardest to make sure he’s alright.”
Yamanbagiri himself isn’t particularly close to Horikawa, but then again, he was never good at approaching others. Partially out of fear. He may consider the Wakizashi his brother due to their names, Kunihiro, but what if the other doesn’t think so? While he’s aware that such a thing doesn’t seem to be in Horikawa’s nature, he couldn’t help but to worry, and that worry prevents him from striking a conversation with him.
He was content with watching over the two, but after a while, he felt compelled to ask, just to make sure.
“I see...” He mutters as the other’s explanation come to an end. It’s not too hard for him to imagine Izuminokami being the one being taken care of by his brother, so he figures he doesn’t need to ask further about it. “I’ll leave him up to you then, Izuminokami.” His tone gentle, yet his gaze is firm. Despite the situation, he still worries for his brother, after all.
“I don’t know my brother very well- but, he’s still my brother. I don’t want anything bad to happen to him. I can trust you, right?”
timidtigertantou:
“It’s really good!” He happily ate the rest of the one he was eating, his cheeks puffing out as he worked on eating it. A joyous move of his head as he ate, feet kicking lightly from his chair.
“Really? That’s good to know.” Things like these give him a little boost of confidence. He usually has problems telling apart a genuine and fake compliment, more often than not thinking that every compliments he gets are fake. But for some reason, he can’t bring himself to doubt Gokotai. “I still have more if you want seconds.”
